Summary: Funny But Short...
Review: OK, I need to get something out in the open before I go any further: clearly the majority of criticisms about this book are going to have a certain slant...and as most of you can guess, that has little to do with how it stands as a humorous piece. That is why I believe too many Americans have investments in their own political allegiances that run far too deep to be productive. This being an election year, I can say that at present I don't have a whole lot of faith in ANY of the figureheads running for the presidency this year, incumbent or not.
That said, I found 'George W. Bushisms' to be good for a few laughs, but largely sophomoric in its presentation. The fact that the books is so small for its price doesn't do it a lot of favors, either; I think the publishers would have done better to release one large volume rather than these 'mini' collections. And I question whether it was really necessary to include the same unflattering photos of Dubya on every other page - as if just cropping and flipping the photo is supposed to add any other dimensions to the inherent stupidity in his facial expressions.
And that, of course, is what this book is really all about: stupidity. While I admit that having a certain rustic aura may help endear this man to the general public - and that that persona can, surprisingly, be quite sincere in its intentions and following through on them - the fact remains that George W. Bush has absolutely no professional grasp on the English language, and when you're supposed to be the chief representative of the American people, that's not exactly something that works to your benefit. It could be easily argued that Mr. Weinberg may be no better at everyday conversation, but that's ultimately a pointless argument as Jacob Weinberg is not President of the United States.
Overall, the book is a bit pricey for its size, but if you're an American who knows better than to approach the respective agendas of our party system like one's the word of the Almighty and the other is just plain blasphemy, then this book is for you.

Summary: Ahh what an idiot our President is........
Review: This book does such a great job of showing America just how stupid George DUB-YA Bush really is.

I don't want to be political here...the Republicans voted for their man because he was a Republican. Even Republicans are embarrassed of G.W. Bush.

Is this book funny? Oh yes!

Is it a bit sad and scary that this book reveals just how pathetic our soon to be EX-President is? Yes.

Is this book doing harm? NO! It is our President's fault that he is such an idiot, revealing his stupidity and lies is not unpatriotic...it is our duty!!!!!!!

Summary: They Were Funny for a While But Now I'm Concerned...
Review: ...has he fallen off the wagon? Is there something seriously wrong with him? After his, "...we will never stop finding was to harm our country and its people" gaffe, then his controversial "tribal sovereignty" stammering, now his hilarious, "ob/gyn-love women all over the country". All these remarkable new Bushisms, his best stuff yet, in a two month period?

Admittedly, they're very funny. But lately my laughter is a bit more nervous. And I ain't joking.

Summary: I Laughed Out Loud
Review: Because it's either laugh or cry. This book is funny, yet sad. Anyone who talks this way is truly stupid. You can't blame it on ADD or dyslexia. I know dyslexics who have PhD's and are very articulate - they can't always spell or alphabetize too well, but they CAN organize their thoughts and speak correctly. It's a sad state of affairs for our country.

Summary: A good laugh
Review: This book just further proves how dumb our president can be. I just find it hilarious how he makes up new words, pronounces words totally wrong, and how bad his grammar is. Just look at his quotes:

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."
On your family? Sure...

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."
Umm, families is a plural word, so is would be are...

And other statements are just strange and unusual:
"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

"It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it."

If you feel like having a good laugh, pick this book up and read some of the famous Bushisms.

Summary: Painful
Review: Dan Quayle must be loving every moment. Quayle's verbal flubs seem minor in comparison to this tome packed with Bush's rather strange commentary on the issues.
Personally I found it personally painful to read, seeing the struggles our president has with simple english sentence structure. I did laugh, but then again it gave me lots of insight on what Americans really want in a president. It certainly isn't intellectualism.

Summary: Libs are hilarious
Review: Have you noticed the number of times that the reviews asked about whether "Bush has helped you??" The role of government is not to help us...it is to protect and assure our liberty. Bush has been called an idiot in these reviews a number of times...really the only reason they say that is that his opinions are different that theirs. Bush may not be eloquent in his speech...he may not even be that smart. But, he has true convictions...not all that I believe in mind you...but, they are convictions. I will take that over pure "intelligence" any time. He has helped me...by helping limit the government's role in my life. The small cranium ones are those that can't accept other opinions as legitimate. Oh yeah...the book IS funny. I can still laugh!
