Summary: God Help Us!
Review: This book is a hoot. The scariest thing about Dubya's election is the question of who is REALLY running the country right now.

Summary: Oh no not another one.
Review: I was always a little worried seeing a man like Regan in power with his finger on the button... but this is downright scary! You can forgive Regan - he clearly had some sort of mental disorder - GW is just plain stupid ! Sure we all say dumb things from time to time but this shows GW has had more than his fair share of stupidity. Amusing to read but left me feeling a little worried!

Summary: Bushisms please...
Review: Wow, I always new he was a funny guy, but after I read this, "Miester Bushe" has made me laugh even more. This book is a very interesting collection of George Dubbah Bush's problem with making a single sentence sound right. I think it is funny that some people wrote negative reviews. I wonder if they are republicans...Ok, ok, I know...Everyone including republicans think he is not he the fastest monkey on the typewriter. I would say the author picked some very good qoutes and had a very nice introduction. I would recommend it highly.

Have a good one.

Summary: That's All Folks!!
Review: Just like Bugs Bunny used to say!

This book made us laught so hard we almost wet our pants. We can't write too much of an in depth review here, let alone a serious one. We can't make fun of GWB2, as he does it sooo well himself. But, if you want a light hearted funny (and sad, well sad for a POTUS), then have a read. A few bucks well spent. This book is filled with the great intelligence that our 43rd president shows. It's funny and will make you glad of one thing... you are smarter than the President!!

Summary: the triumph of style over substance
Review: I'll bet Bush intentionally screws up his words to appear "folksy" and to distract people from the substance of what he's talking about. This time-killing tome is as much about "politics" as that book by Bush's mother's dog Millie. If you really want to see how much of an idiot the "president" is, don't read this, read his budget.

Summary: That's My Bush!
Review: When the Supreme Court selected George W. Bush to be the 43rd President of the United States, they obviously overestimated his ability to form a coherent sentence. Or, as Dubya would say, "they misunderestimated me." "George W. Bushisms" is a collection of over 100 misstatements and syntactic errors committed by our beloved president . . . and I'm sure that there's a whole lot more coming in the next four years! I highly recommend this book to anyone, political affiliation aside. The English teachers of our society may cringe as they turn each page, but the rest of you will laugh until you turn blue in the face! This is one book on Dubya that absolutely cannot be missed!

Summary: Our President is a F***ing idiot and this book proves that
Review: Well just to let you know, you will only love this book if you are a Gore or Nader(like me) supporter. This book is filled with the great intelligence that our 43rd president has showed. Little quotes like, "My brother Jeb, the great governor of Texas" "It's Your Money you paid for it" and other little diddys like that. I laughed my @$$ off when I read this and you will too. Get it now!!

Summary: You can find similar stuff on newspaper web sites
Review: This book contains quotations from George W Bush that can be found in various articles published in Time, Newsweek, New York Times, Washington Post, etc.. If you have a few minutes (ten minutes at most) you can find a very good collection yourself on newspaper archives, and save ten dollars in the process.

But still, it's very funny.

Summary: Will Get a Good Laugh Out of It
Review: To be honest, I haven't read this book all the way through, but I have read some of the quotes and laughed at them. This is a book that I'm sure my dad would get a kick out of because he's a Democrat and thinks that Bush is a complete idiot. Oh, by the way, did you know that Bush actually called Greeks "Grecians"? There's a quote about that in the book.

Summary: President Bush is Fair Game, but...
Review: I am an original Slate.com reader of Jacob Weisberg's "Bushisms." Many of George W. Bush's staunch advocates claim that everybody occasionally commits verbal gaffes, but this defense is not very convincing. Our current President does seem to trip over his own tongue far above the norm.

Even the office of the Presidency is not a safe haven against just criticism. No one is above being taken to task for flubbing the English language in a Democratic culture. Americans have always relished poking fun at the high and mighty. Uncritical adulation is not a value which we should embrace. A little Egalitarianism is good for our political system. So go ahead and enjoy Weisberg's collection of President Bush's misadventures with the English tongue. However, one should be cautious not to judge our nation's leader merely on this evidence. There is a long history of people underestimating Dubya. After all, he wasn't suppose to have a chance against Al Gore! Perhaps George W. Bush is akin to to the Energizer Bunny---he just keeps ticking. The man who once asked "Is our children learning?" may yet be vindicated.
