Rating: Summary: Join him now - it's not a cult. it's a collective! Review: This book made me laugh, made me almost cry, and definitely made me want to Join Danny! I wanted to become a Joinee before he even decided what they should do. Anybody who starts a "collective" (it's NOT a cult!)without knowing what it should be for is a pretty cool guy in my book. How many of us have ever been sitting around bored and thought of something crazy to do? Now, how many actually did it? Well, Danny did, he placed an ad reading simply "Join Me" and instructing people to send their picture to an address. This is not the first time he's done something a little crazy and his girlfriend is tired of his schemes so he doesn't tell her about this one. What does he decide to do with his collective? Does his girlfriend find out? Does Danny change the world? Read the book and find out - you'll love it! And just maybe you'll Join.

Rating: Summary: Interesting! Review: This book was funny but yet interesting that hundreds of people just joined a group and had no idea what they were getting involved in. Danny Wallace really has a great sense of humor in this book and tried to get his joinees to do good things. This book really kept my interest and I definitely recommend it.
Rating: Summary: another point of view Review: This book was so funny I ended up reading it out loud on a road trip. I kept chuckling, and finally the driver demanded I share. I can't recommend it strongly enough. Combine this book with "Round Ireland with a Fridge" and you have a perfect Brit-book weekend.
Rating: Summary: Total silliness Review: This book was such a fun read. I heard Danny Wallace interviewed on a local radio station and ordered the book later that same day. The story is just utter silliness but worth the read. At times I wondered why he was with his girlfriend and why these crazies kept joining when they had no idea what "join me" was. The vicar and Galactic guy had me howling with laughter. This is a light story that's very entertaining. I think anyone who thrives on spontaneity will love this book. Oh, and I will be sending in my passport photo, as soon as I can get one that doesn't make me look like I'm crazy too....
Rating: Summary: An excellent, funny, and easy read Review: This is a great light-hearted novel that will make you laugh out loud and maybe even make you think about how we all interact with each other in our daily lives. A great story that is easy to read and leaves you feeling inspired, as well as a little bit happier, but at no point is the book saccharine. The humor is clever, dry, and witty, making it one of the best light reading books I've read in a very long time.
Rating: Summary: Good Review: This is definetly a book to check out at the library or if it's loaned to you. It's a fun idea, and is fun to read. I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of the book, it was a very quick read, fun and interesting. But the last part really slowed down and lost my interest. If you get a chance to read it, do it.And then decide if you want to Join Danny.
Rating: Summary: So uplifting! Review: What a fun read... Danny Wallace had me gripped from the beginning with his first joinee until the last page. It was a book I was sorry to put down when it was over. The book is uplifting, positive and happy, which is saying a lot in our day and age. I loved this book and hope to see another from Mr. Wallace.
Rating: Summary: This book is so great!! Review: What a wonderfully funny story. This is a must for anyone with a sense of humor. It makes you wonder even more about the things people do to be a part of something. The good news is this is a great thing to be a part of. It's just one simple man who just thought it would be funny to start this " cult " never expecting such a huge response. This is absolute proof anyone can do Anything at all in this world. Definately a must read. OH yeah! Don't forget to join when your done.
Rating: Summary: Humor + Hope = A Winning Combination Review: What do you get when you combine the talents of a journalist and a comedian with a man who just wants the world to be a better place? Danny Wallace. And what a wonderful mix it is. This book enlightens the soul. Ever had a stranger pick something up that you dropped, or hold a door for you? Didn't you appreciate it, and think well of the person? Well, this book inspires you to be that person...and all by simply saying 'Join Me'. And why not? Read the book. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this book. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to be a part of the feel-good group that Danny Wallace has started. But, if this book doesn't make you want to join, it will at least make you laugh. And doesn't that feel good?
