Rating: Summary: Blackjack Practitioner Review: Having read books by some noted authors such as Edward Thorpe's "Beat the Dealer", Peter Griffin's "Theory of Blackjack", Stanford Wong's "Basic Blackjack" and others. I can say that this author has come up with a completely original strategy geared totally towards Multiple Deck Blackjack. As with all Blackjack systems and or strategies it requires dedicated discipline. I found the book and the strategy good enough to put it into play with amazing results. I give this book and author my highest recommendation!!
Rating: Summary: The 'HOLY GRAIL" of blackjack books! Review: This is the book that blackjack players/gamblers have always waited for! The NEW strategy for blackjack which is in this book is everything the author says it is and more! The author claims that this new strategy will "revolutionize" the game, and I have no doubt that is certainly will. I have played using this strategy in Atlantic City and at $50.00 a hand I won over $2,500 in less than 10 hours! NO COUNTING! Simply by playing using this "Gregorian Strategy." I have been playing blackjack for over 5 years with the old basic strategy/card counting using the high/low and I never had "luck" like I have had since I have used this new strategy. In my opinion after reading this book and applying this new "revolutionary" strategy, this is the future of casino blackjack.
Rating: Summary: mark aponte Review: Gregory Mannarino's blackjack book is a must read for all serious blackjack players. His style is a stategic attack when the dealer is most vulnerable based on probability and statistics. The key is to manage your money and exhibit discipline according to his advice. If done accordingly, you can't lose.
Rating: Summary: Update to "It Works" Review: Wrote my first review on Sept. 23. Since then I have read this book twice more for a total of 5 times and have played 8 more sessions. With discipline being the key I have had 7 of 9 winning sessions. A MUST have book is my recommendation!
Rating: Summary: Serious blackjack. Review: I bought this book after reading a review done by Nick Christenson, (well known individual who reviews gambling books). Although his review of this book was a negative one, I thought his review was interesting enough for me to want to get the book. After reading this book for the first time I will admit that was a little confused. I read it again and things did make more sense, (it is a technical book). I have been trying out this "new strategy" at home, and I must say that it does seem to do what the author says it will do. Very interesting..
Rating: Summary: A Real edge over Multiple Deck Blackjack Review: At 60+ years old and a Blackjack player for many years. I'm here to tell you this strategy works! I live in New Jersey so Atlantic City is where I do 90% of my Blackjack playing and where there are only multiple deck games. Bought the book on Sept. 29, 2003. 12 visits and 130 hours of playing with the book sitting on my lap I had 9 winning sessions and a win rate of 1 and 1/4 %. Highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: The End of Casino Blackjack Review: I would get in now while the gettin's good! I don't give casino blackjack much more than about 10 years more existence in it's present form due to the info in THIS book. I'm not quitting my dayjob but I am going part-time. Hard to believe this game has been played incorrectly in this country for over 100 years. See you in Vegas.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books on the game I have come across. Review: Very thought provoking book with a new look at the game. New strategy, great advanced section with cool counting system.
Rating: Summary: SOMEWHAT INTERESTING Review: SOME CONFUSION AND ALOT OF DICIPLINE NEEDED. MOSTLY IT'S LUCK YOU NEED TO BEAT THE CASINOS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF BOOKS ON CRACKING THE HOUSE ODDS.
Rating: Summary: Shocking! Review: I have bought every blackjack book on the market, this is the only one that has something DIFFERENT to say. No one else in my circle of blackjack friends can verify the authors statistics, but they seem to have validity to me. There is some confusion in the book however. The written explanation of what to do with A7 against a 2 or A says stand. However, the chart says hit. Other than that one issue I have with the book, I would highly recommend it.
