Summary: Outrageously Funny, Did we grow up together ?
Review: A wonderful book that should delight woman of all ages. A must read ! Ms. Macsai has taken all the ups and downs of womanhood and put it in a book for all of us to share. Reading this book is like looking in the mirror, she touches on every poignant moment in a woman's life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was non-stop laughter. The other day I shared the book with a friend at work and we went on-line to order 4 more copies for other friends.

I speak as a member of the generation that raised people Gwen's age and have always considered this group special. They are my generation's kids! I have learned a lot about this group from this book. Summary: Pass Your Copy Around
Review: Buy Lipshtick, read it (it'll take all of two days), write your name in the front cover and pass it through your circle of friends and hope that it eventually makes it back to you. Even if it doesn't make it back to your shelf, you will know that you've shared something really great. Pretty much any woman will find something to sympathize with and something to laugh at on every page. It's too bad the male "reader from NY, NY" didn't get it. I'd be interested to hear other men's responses.

Summary: Enjoy being a girl/girlfriend? READ THIS BOOK
Review: Having this book beside me is like being with a best friend or remembering the one I had in 4th grade. A must-read and a great girlfriend-gift. I laughted all kinds of laughs from hearty gawfas to the kind that make you greatful for panty liners. Macsai's the kind of girlfriend you wish you had or want to be. If you have a great girlfriend send them this book. The author suggests handing my copy off to a a friend, but Joyce, I'm sending one to you! This woman is a treasure and her stories are all of ours! YOU GO GIRL!

Review: I adored this book. From the moment I picked it up I knew I was hooked. Never before have I read a book which offers better insight into being a woman and all the baggage that goes with it. I could not relate to most of the book, being only in high school, but all that I knew basically made me feel as though Ms. Macsai took my heart, opened it, and wrote a humorous, touching, and powerful book using my personal experience. Her style makes you feel so personally connected to her, almost as you were hearing each of these individual tales as one of her girlfriends. The majority of the time I was laughing or wishing I had one of my girlfriends here to enjoy her stunning book with me. The truth captured in Lipshtick was amazing, and deserves to be shared with all.

Review: I don't know Gwen Macsai's radio work, but this is some of the funniest--and truest--stuff about being a girl and a woman I've ever read. I loved her take on girls without girlfriends, girl crushes, the nightmares of dating, getting hitched and bearing children. There's more than enough in here for any woman today to relate to. I'm getting copies for my girlfriends and my mom!
