Summary: Great book
Review: Excellent pictures, very entertaining

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A sub-par effort.....and I'm being generous giving 2 stars.
Review: For those of us raised in the 70's, the Ghoul is a TV legend. I was eagerly looking forward to the release of this book. Imagine my disappointment with the half-hearted results this book provides. There are a number of excellent entries, photos, and movie/song listings that make the book worthwhile for a one-time trip down memory lane (at your public library), but there is no in-depth look at the show's production, workings, or man behind the beard. The Ghoul will always be the King of late-night TV, but this book is sorely lacking in anything of kingly quality.

Summary: Ahh the days of channel 61 come flooding back!
Review: Growing up in Cleveland, I havn't thought of him in years (and am surprised he is still doing his show!) While I havn't read this book yet, just the thought of the old Sat nights watching the Ghoul making fun of some bad B movies was a treat! I plan on getting this book and good or bad, the memories it brought back are priceless! I had all but forgotten him and the other guys, Holuhan and Big Chuck. Don't rememeber that Ghoulardi guy....

Summary: Ghoul Fans will Love It!
Review: I bought 2 copies of this book -- one for my husband and one for a good male friend who both went nuts on Christmas Eve when they opened their gifts and found the Ghoul under the tree! They both said it was a trip down memory lane and the book reminded them of favorite Ghoul antics they had forgotten about. Their next question was: when's he putting out a best series on video? Well, Ron?

Summary: A sorry book
Review: Sorry that I spent the money on this---I was expecting better from the Ghoul. Too short, lots of pictures, no text. Watch the show, skip the book.

Summary: This is one funny book...!!!
Review: Talk about hilarious. Picked up a copy of the Ghoul Scrapbook at a book signing in Southgate Michigan a few months back. Did this ever bring back the memories. Now if we could only get him back onto Detroit television....

Ghoul fans will love this book. The pics, the memories and the boffo visual effects are all on the pages of this most-excellent publicaton!

Can't wait for a follow-up with even more "stuff". The Ghoul lives on!

Summary: A great book for all!
Review: The book was very upbeat and fun. I'm glad I bought it!! Every page was a stroll down memory lane. This book definatly put a smile on my face :)

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: O.K. for new fans, but not a book for long-time viewers!
Review: The Ghoul has written a book for those idjits who had never heard of him before 1996....Anybody out there who remembers him from the old Ch. 61, wait for the second edition, 'cause this book doesn't do it! Most of the reviewers so far seem to have had too much sugar for breakfast when they wrote their reviews. It is not a great effort from Ron Sweed; he could have(should have) done a lot better. Next time you see him, ask him what happened to the rest of the book (looks like he left out about 150 pages, probably in Parma). The best thing you can say about the book is that if you live in the Cleveland area, there is a good chance you could get it signed by the Ghoul someday, as he makes many public appearances.

Summary: A Short Picture Book for Youngsters
Review: This book has lots of nice pictures, but at 150 pages, really doesn't tell the fans of the Ghoul anything we didn't know already. Save your money, buy the Ghoulardi book instead (compare the two books-- Ghoulardi book is far superior--Ghoul book is a pale imitation, right down to graphics, book size, and layout). True fans will be disappointed! Don't say I didn't warn you!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is a MUST HAVE for all,,
Review: This book is well put together, very informative.. It really brought back some good memories too. A great book well done, by two great people!
