Summary: Brought me back to center
Review: Individual Power had a real impact on me with respect to personal relationships in the chapter "solving the mystery of the opposite sex", and the insights on soul mate relationships. "Transforming pain into personal and collective triumph" is where I learned exactly how people can take their darkest hours and turn them into lasting positive difference for myself and for many others
This book gave me a lot of information on spiritual communication that I never knew of before. A great quote from the book on page 155 says: "Suffering is part of the tapestry until you realize the gift or the reason for the suffering."
I was really pleased to see how Barbara Rose speaks out for the downtrodden in many areas of society, especially to help children. One of the areas she speaks out for is that if children undergo a trauma, such as being placed in foster care, or a change in custody, that they should receive emotional counseling to help them adjust no matter what the circumstances. She shares from the heart, in an authentic and genuine way. One of my other favorite parts of the book is how it goes into detail to discover your life purpose, and that has been a challenge of mine, until now. I tried the examples given in the book, and am on a new path that feels really exciting for the first time.
This book helped me see a lot about myself. It really made a lasting difference for me.

Summary: Brilliant, Visionary, Ahead of its time, 10 Stars!
Review: The amazing thing about this book is that it takes you beyond just you, and places you into your larger role in society, as well as who you are spiritually.The whole book is a page turner, that you won't be able to put down. Part One addresses you on a deeply personal level. In part two, Individual Power is visionary, taking you on a journey into your role in society, and even on a global scale. This book is so eloquently written, the messages are as profound as they are needed. In part three, Barbara Rose has an uncanny ability with spiritual dimensions, that is subtle enough for those who are new on the spiritual path, and deep enough for those who want to know more about how to access and use their spiritual abilities taking them further along, and upward on the spiritual spiral. I found that I enjoy coming back to this book, to re-read certain sections that pertain to my life in the moment. The book covers a vast array of territory, and is not just another self-help book - it is a classic in many areas that you will surely treasure.

Summary: Answers from the Heart
Review: There is something quite unique about Individual Power, and that is the authenticity form which it has been written. In part One of the book, I was taken on a journey into my own personal choices, my intimate relationships, my self worth and self esteem. I learned in great measure about how to un-do old patterns within myself, and have found a lot more inner peace as a result.
In part Two, I was taken into "empowering society at large" and the chapter that addresses "Disempowered Children, Authentically Empowered Adults" brought back a lot from my own childhood, and how to turn painful memories around. There are wonderful suggestions for parents as to how to raise children with healthy self esteem. There are many other topics addressed in this chapter, each one needed, and the solutions are a light of hope for all.
In part Three, "Evolving Spiritually" I was taken on yet another journey to my spiritual connection with God, Divine Source, and learned a lot in language that was easy to understand.
Barbara Rose created a few national holidays as a result of her personal experiences, among them "National Divorced Parents for Children's Week" (listed in 2004 Chase's Calendar of Events) That holiday seeks to "put children first by having each parent show courtesy and respect to the other parent solely for the benefit of the child."
Barbara Rose is clearly a woman that is doing her all to make positive change. Her books and websites are a reflection of an inner spirit that never extinguishes. The messages in Individual Power have stayed with me, and that is a tribute to the heart-center from where this book was written.
