Summary: The concept of visual affirmation is powerful!
Review: The House of Belief is based on Ms. Katillac's premise that "within the safe space of our homes, we should surround ourselves with images that uplift our hearts and minds". Within the beautifully illustrated pages she encourages us to find, nurture and express our personal spirit of creativity. How refreshing to be empowered to find ways to visualize the values, beliefs and feelings that make us truly unique! The concept of visual affirmation is powerful!This book is truly unique in that is really three books in one. The first enourages us to express the spirit of our personal style, using that process to heal and grow personally. The second provides activities as catalysts to set the spirit free. The third is most subtle, but powerful. It shows how to use all the previous concepts to create a "Community House of Belief", which is true asset-based community development. Ms. Katillac challenges us to make our communities more reflective of our common values. It worked in Kansas City! Why not in other cities around the world? Ms. Katillac's community vision is what the world needs now!
