Summary: Buy this book first, and save your money!
Review: This is without a doubt the best knitting reference I can offer my students. The portability, small size, indestructability of the pages and built-in needle size/gauge check all add to Vicki's clear instructions and beautiful illustrations. BUY THIS BOOK - and if you're a good friend, buy one for a new knitter, they'll never stop thanking you!

Summary: Great book to carry in your bag!
Review: This wonderful little flipbook is the perfect thing to carry along in your knitting bag. It is the perfect thing for looking up that pattern stitch that you never heard of, or don't understand. The book can easily be propped up as a hands free reference while you are knitting.

There is a needle size tool and a ruler for helping you check your gauge as well.

All knitters should have a handy reference book, and this is a good one. New knitters, this book covers the basics, but it is not written as a learn to knit text. This is a reference only book.

Summary: The Best Book in your Knitting Library
Review: Throw out all your outdated and antiquated knitting books.
You will never have to spend another dime on knitting information.

This is the best thing that you will ever want or love in the knitting department. Always at your finger tips for quick reference and fits beautifully into your knitting bag.

The pages are heavy cardboard and are easily marked for reference with paper clips. I tend to revist quite often!!
Can't tell you how many of these books I have bought friends and relatives who knit. Novice or advanced, the perfect gift.
What else can you buy for about $... (=-) for someone that is so handy and meaningful?

It would be nice if they left some blank pages for notes. I have "cheat sheets" written on all the fly leaves.

Summary: The most used book in my extensive knitting library!
Review: Vicki Square has created the perfect thing for knitters of all abilities. I made the "mistake" of lending my copy to a friend, and now realize that I don't know how I ever got along without it! This is a must for all, pick one up, and see how often you need it! Square's simple explanations and pictures will make us all much better knitters.
