Rating: Summary: I Loved This Book! Review: I'm 17 years old, and I really hadn't had time to read any books in awhile. My mom actually recommended "Confessions" to me (well she kind of forced me to read it, and I'm glad she did!) I got it, and I couldnt put it down. It was amazing how I saw so many of my own traits in Becky. We both procrastinate, we both are constantly saying the things we SHOULD do, instead of actually doing them. But it was really funny how while i was reading the book, i was getting angry with Becky. She knew she didn't have any money to spend and that she was in debt, then she'd go to the store and buy just one more little thing. I found myself yelling at the pages "WHAT are you DOING?!!" And i think at first we all hated Luke Brandon so much, and empathized with Becky after her great day with him, picking out suitcases, turned into a really embarrassing night for her. Becky's buying habits were alittle irritating sometimes, but she was overall a really likeable character. The way Kinsella wrote, I felt like Becky was talking to me. I felt like she was real, and ending the book felt like I was leaving her life, when I really wanted to stay longer! Oh and Sophie Kinsella's picture on the back cover is exactly how i imagined Becky to look like. I loved this book, it was a great read and I can't wait to read the sequel!
Rating: Summary: Hilariously funny Review: At first I was wondering if I could like Becky Bloomwood because she was a bit materialistic, but then she won me over. The scenes in this book were hilarious and the characters were well-developed. Foreshadowing and appropriate climactic moments were strategically placed to make a very interesting read. I couldn't put this book down and finished it in one weekend.Definitely recommended.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This was a great book. I just couldn't stop laughing and could really relate to some of the reasons why Becky should have new shoes, outfit, purse etc!! This is a great quick read!!!

Every page has a different event waiting to be read! You'll never get bored of Becky Bloomwood's busy life! After her life changing event....things change for the better and everything she's wanted is now in her posession. The book ends on a high note and continues to go on in Shopaholic takes Manhattan!!
Rating: Summary: AB FAB Book! Review: This book was one of the best books I've read in a while. It made me feel less bad about how much I spend.
Rating: Summary: shopaholics!! Review: This is the kind of book a girl like me can relate to, if your a shop-a-holic you'll love this book! It's about a girl that loves shopping but can't keep up with the bills. She decides to cut back--that doesnt work, then tries making more money--again does not work. But in the end its a hollywood ending!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Book! Review: I absolutely love this book! I read it in one day because I just couldn't stand to put it down. The author uses subtle wit to make the story fast paced and fun. I'm in the middle of the sequel Shopaholic takes Manhattan which is also amazing, and has the same page turning flow.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: If you want some easy, truly enjoyable reading, this book is something for you. The heroine, Rebecca Bloomwood is a shopaholic, and her main problem in life is how to pay her cradit card bill. Or, no, may be this is not actually a problem; letters from the bank can easily get lost, phonecalls from the bank can be denied because you are too ill to speak to them, and of course next month you will be able to pay, when you win the top prize in the national lottery. Rebecca is another female, single Londongirl, following in the line of so many others, starting with Bridget Jones. And the story about Rebecca is so funny written, once you start the book you want to read non stop untill the end. Will she be able to pay her debt, will she CB (Cut Back) or will she MMM (Make More Money) The most enjoyable side of the book is that it spotlights so many of today's shopping habits, where the only comfort is to buy oneself a little something. And of course shopping is the meaning of life, well, at least looking at prizetags is. What's the point in visiting a museum, even the famous V&A, where the displayed items have no prizetags? Rating: Summary: Really -- 3.5 stars. I used to be her . . . . Review: If I had read this book 10 years ago, I'd be screaming that someone tapped into my brain and wrote a book about me! The main character was pretty flaky and couldn't get a handle on her credit card bills -- even though she was a supposed expert on finance. I laughed because I used to dread the mail from the Credit Card companies. I never wrote letters back though, I would just not pick up the mail. I gave this book a 3.5 stars just because it falls along the "English Girl books" line. It's no Bridget Jones (with Bridget being a 5)-- but it's good and a very enjoyable read. You chuckle along with her escapades and faux pas. I couldn't put it down either. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL READ!!! Review: I loved this book. It was a good read and it was light hearted and funny. I can't wait to read the next one!!
