Rating: Summary: One of the best books ever! Review: I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good book. I warn you though that it's very addictive. I was up until 3:30 am finishing it up because i couldn't put it down. It's not just another sappy diary but it's actually very deep. You won't be able to resist loving both Jessica and Marcus! I was so sad when I finished it. if only there was a third book!
Rating: Summary: All I have to say is woah... Review: Sarcastic yet sappy... I loved it. And I am normally a tough critic. I suggest anyone with a sense of humor check it out!
Rating: Summary: Best Book Review: This book is amazing! I could not put it down. I definately recommend.
Rating: Summary: GREAT Review: I'm not gonna tell you how this book goes. Doubtless you've already read about it. Instead, I'll say only that this book is incredibly touching and real--it made me realize I'm not the only person in the world who's smart and totally out of touch with almost all my peers. As I read, I couldn't help but wonder how in the world Ms. McCafferty came up with a character who's so much like me. The only problem I had with this book is the language. But then, anyone who's been in your typical public school these days knows: that's how teens talk. SO I just did my best to ignore all the cussing. (If the f-word shocks you, you'll hate this book) Otherwise, read this book--I promise you, it's even better than the last one. Oh, yeah, read Sloppy Firsts first. If you don't, you'll want to, but you won't be able to, because you'll already know the plot. One last thing: it's PineVILE Low, people, not PineVILLE. It's supposed to be a sarcastic slur on Pineville. As Jess would say, har-dee-har-har.
Rating: Summary: Witty as hell Review: I loved this and the first book. i could totally relate and it was fun. something good to pick up if you feel like you need to relax and have a little fun. its great and i reccomend it to anyone
Rating: Summary: !OMG!I LOVED THIS BOOK! Review: OK! This book is a amazing i never really liked reading until I picked this book up and couldn't put it down Read this book and you won't be unsatisfied you will love it!
Rating: Summary: OMG! I LOVED THIS BOOK! Review: OK! this book was amazing i didn't really like reading until I picked up this book and couldn't put it down it's another amazing story about the Hilarious charecter jessica darling !JUST PLAN AND SIMPLE I LOVED IT!
Rating: Summary: Better than the first! Review: I agree with everyone who said this was better than the first book. There was just something that drew the reader to Jessica's tale. This book dealt with the life of any high school senior, deciding where to go to for college, experimentation at parties, but it kept in line with REAL experiences.
Rating: Summary: MY FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME!!! Review: THis is a must read for anyone who has read sloppy firsts....Jessica developes beautifully as a character and you can't help but love the way she sees her superficial world. this novel kept me glued to my seat all weekend and I know that it won't be the last time that i read it.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: I have read MANY books, but i just had to say that Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings are my FAVORITE books of ALL. I got Second Helpings the day it came out this summer and stayed up the entire night and finished it. I am in love with the characters and can relate to Jessica so well. I wish so bad that McCafferty would write one more so it could settle wether or not jessica and marcus are going work things through college and things like that. But even if McCafferty doesnt write another book, Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings are still the BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ!!!!
