Rating: Summary: Timeless Tales 4 Star Review Review: by Amy TurpinTair da'Kamon is one of the most powerful men on his world. His powers exceed that of most. He found his mate, but has not claimed her so that he might be Link to his brother's mate. Now that his duty to his brother is done, he intends to claim and tame the lovely Kate. An easier task said than done. Kate Carson is nobody's fool. She plays hardball and she wins. Having her best friend, Sharon, Called to Oath was hard enough, but now she faces a similar situation. Problem is, the very man calling her is the one man she has not been able to get out of her mind. He is sex personified. And she knows he is dangerous. He challenges her in so many ways she can barely keep up and she knows this is one game she has to win. She sees her best chance of survival as choosing the Oath of Challenge. All she has to do is resist having actual intercourse with the man for two weeks. Then she will be free to return home. Unfortunately, she isn't exactly sure where home is now. Tair leads Kate on a sensual journey, exploring her sexuality. He challenges her in more ways than she ever thought possible. She finds new realms of possibilities she has only fantasized about before and Tair is making them all come true. Even some she won't even admit to herself. Neither Tair or Kate wants a love relationship, but there are simply too many complications. Fate has destined them to be together. Can they really keep their hearts out of it? This series is shaping up to be exciting indeed! With interesting primary and secondary characters, sizzling sex and a whole lot of imagination, author Chance has hit upon a winning combination. My compliments indeed! I look forward to the next story!
Rating: Summary: Timeless Tales 5 Star Review Review: by Shadoe Simmons Conquering Kate. Can Tair da'Kamon do it? Can he meet the Challenge Oath she has chosen, and convince her to allow him to take her as he deems it his right to have her? Can Kate actually challenge this tall, fierce warrior and expect to walk away unscathed, her body not craving his to the point that nothing else will matter but his touch, and the tempestuous union of their bodies? She's sure she can. She's tough, and smart, a barracuda lawyer with a shark attack attitude that she's certain will leave the arrogant warrior standing in amazed confusion. But Kate hadn't counted on Tairs own arrogance, or the sensual delights to be found in his arms, and in his bed. The Oath of Challenge has given Tair the right to tempt her, in whatever sexual manner he chooses. To find her greatest sexual fantasies, which isn't hard for a psychic such as himself, and to fulfill them to the furthest degree. And Tair will do just that. He will give Kate what no other man has been able to. Her hottest fantasies, her most erotic dreams will no longer be her private property. They are now, at the sole discretion of her pact mate, open for fulfillment. And there is no other man better able to fulfill them. Ms. Chance has done it again. Though you would think the tone of the story would be similar to that of the first novel of this series, you find that just the opposite is true. In Oath of Challenge, the heroine does not give in willingly to the sexual temptations of her pact mate. She will tempt him instead. Draw him to the point of gasping, desperate need as she revels in his touch, and the sensual satisfactions to be found in him, yet refuses the ultimate union. Her challenge. He can touch her however he pleases, bring her to satisfaction in a million different ways, but she will withhold that final, needed conclusion. For if she loses, she has no choice. She will then be his pledge mate, bound to him for all time, unable to return to the life she has been taken from. But Tair is not a man who will be easily beaten. He knows the secrets of her body, the fantasies that fire her blood, and he will not play fair. Oath of Challenge has exceeded my expectations of this second book, and flung my preconceived notions out the door. Tair is just as determined as Kate, and when these two touch, sparks fly, flames erupt, and the sensual explosions fill the air with heated moans and desperate cries. Turn on the A/C, and prepare yourself for an erotic adventure unlike any other. Oath of Challenge is a book you won't just read, but will come back to again and again for the sheer pleasure of the heat that emanates from the pages, and the fulfilling fantasy of man willing to meet any challenge, and to triumph in the face of a pride which is not match for the erotic needs he inspires.
Rating: Summary: Looking forward to next book Review: Great characters. Looking forward to what happens next to Jardik and Kate's brother.
Rating: Summary: Laughter Life & Love Review: I am not a fan of futuristic stories or erotica but this has an entertaining story. It is funny and sexy. I read it in one sitting as well as the first book of the Oath Series. I am looking forward to the next installment. Just keep them coming. If you are looking for a new author or series to read - give Marly Chance a go.
Rating: Summary: A Nice Balance Review: I know I appreciate reviews that let me know what to expect without ruining the story, so I hope this is helpful to some readers... This is a very erotic love story that's graphic, but without too much over-the-top NC-17 stuff. In other words, no public, same sex or group encounters(other than one scene with just a *hint* of a menage). If you are like me and want it Burning HOT, but without the above-mentioned situations, this is for you!!
Rating: Summary: Hot! Not Quite as Good as the First... Review: I liked this story but not as much as Oath of Seduction. As with the first installment of the series, this story is hot. It has graphic love scenes. The story and the alien world created by the author are compelling enough to keep my interest between the sex scenes. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for something really sexy.

Rating: Summary: Kicks A#%! Review: Kate was relieved that Sharon's (Oath of Seduction: Seducing Sharon) 3-week trial period was finally over. As Sharon's lawyer and best friend, Kate had all of the papers drawn up and ready for Sharon's signature so that she could dissolve the ridiculous Oath that she had been forced to fulfill with a Shimerian (alien) male named Liken da'Kamon. What she was not expecting was two Pactreps showing up in her office and dragging her off to fulfill her own Oath with a Shimerian male. It is true that she talked Sharon into doing her patriotic duty and signing the register, placing both of them in the pool of potential Earth mates for Shimerian males, but the chances of two best friends both being called to Oath was infinitesimal! Kate was furious and was ready to give her potential pactmate a blistering set down, but she did want to see Sharon so she went with the Pactreps. Kate was both stunned and relieved to discover that Sharon was there to make her relationship with Liken official and that she looked like a woman very much in love. She was infuriated to discover that the man who Called her to Oath was Tair da'Kamon, Liken's elder brother whom she had taken an instant dislike to. However, Kate was a lawyer and believed in the law, so she decided to go through with the charade, have two weeks of the best sex of her life, and then dump Tair like a hot rock. When Kate was presented with her choices for courtship: Seduction, Challenge or Capture, she immediately chose Challenge and was whisked off to the portal between the worlds to begin her so-called new life. Kate had an inauspicious beginning when Tair discovered that she was one of the few women that the portal affected so strongly by making them pass out for a day, but since Kate insisted that she never fainted, he let it go and concentrated on seducing her. By choosing the Oath of Challenge, Kate agreed to let Tair give her whatever he - and she - wanted sexually. However, if she allowed him to have actual intercourse with her in the two week time period, she would remain pledged to him and become his pactmate by law. What Kate did not know is that Tair merged his mind with hers after he gave her an orgasm shortly after her arrival on Shimeria. His mind link enabled him to see Kate's every secret fantasy and desire and Tair intended on fulfilling every single one of them... I enjoyed this book more than Oath of Seduction because I understood the Shimerian world better and I also thought that Tair was even sexier than his brother. He is an Enforcer, too, though, and, once again, Marly Chance does not use the opportunity to explain more about the Enforcers on Shimeria and what exactly they are protecting the people against as there is no danger in sight. Kate was a great character, too, she seemed tough and abrasive on the outside, but was really looking for a guy who would stand up to her and yet still treat her like a treasure. It was entertaining, to say the least, to see these two strong willed people go head to head and try to win the game. I recommend the Oath series by Marly Chance and am eagerly awaiting Jadik's story in what I presume will be Oath of Capture, hopefully coming soon! (...)

Rating: Summary: Marly Chance can do no wrong Review: Kate watched Liken take her best friend away as a pactmate, and is determined to get Sharon back. Little does Kate know that her own troubles are about to begin. Tair, Liken's brother, is Kate's pactmate. Tair has waited to claim Kate so he could be Sharon's, Liken's pledgemate, link. Since only an unclaimed male can be a link. With Liken's mate secure Tair now goes after Kate is a vengence. He loves a challenge and Kate is definitely going to be that. Kate is strong and capable and independent. She has little use for men bescause she has never found one who could better her. Well she has met her match in Tair. The story that unfolds is warm and humorous. Ms Chance writing pulls you into the culture of the Shimerian and makes you want to find your own Shimerian male. The story is Oath of Capture and should be out soon.
