Summary: I was very disappointed after having read I Know This...
Review: The further I got into this book the more I disliked it. After awhile I became very annoyed with the main character. I DO NOT RECOMMNED THIS NOVEL!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: DEPRESSING!
Review: I thought this book would be inspirational since Oprah recommended it. Instead, it was extremely depressing and dark. This was a complete waste of my time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderfully written and completely entertaining.
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Once I started it, I finished it in three days. That says alot about a book to me, it drew in my attention and kept me there. Wonderfully written, I can't believe that it was all written by a MAN!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loved it!
Review: I think this book is fabulous! I would esp. like to reccomend it to teens, although I'm sure a lot of ADULTS out there would disagree with me because of some of the more sexual parts of the book. I have lent it to about 3 friends who have ALL absoloutly adored it! I am fifteen (but I read it when I was fourteen) and I want to tell all those teens out there to read this book! It got ME reading again.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Absolutely Wonderful
Review: I loved this book. I had it recommended to me by several people, and when I started it, I simply could not put it down. It read like an autobiography for me, with a few exceptions. I think I finished it in two days-I could not stand to put it down.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not the Greatest, but Good
Review: I did enjoy the book very much, it is a "page-turner" type of book but not the greatest. Many parts of the book are very graphic and discomforting but besides that, it was good reading.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best book read in years
Review: When I stole this book from my roommate, I didn't expect to become so enraptured in it. I read it nonstop and felt like I knew Dolores. Wally Lamb is a masterful writer and I felt a little changed when finished with the book. I can't wait to read his new novel.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Quite Possibly my Favorite Book Ever
Review: This was the best book I have ever read. My friend first told me about it and i was like why read it? Just another depressing book. When I found my self with nothing to read, I decided to try it out. Boy was I wrong!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: TERRIBLE
Review: Oh, please. I did not read this book because it was on Oprah's list. I read it because I heard that it was so good. Well, it wasn't. Lamb thinks he can write from a woman's point of view but he just can't. I doubt that he experienced any of the things that the main character did. He has no idea how one might express these feelings and deal with them. I must admit that I can see why Oprah reccomended it. (the whole bit with losing weight seems very fimilar) I thought that Oprah had better taste, I guess I was wrong. Next time Wally "write what you know."

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Awful
Review: I'm not sure who Wally Lamb thinks he is. Writing from a woman's point of view and being a man is an interseting idea, but he doesn't execute it. The characters were typical and boring and the plot dull. As if I didn't know she was going to end up with the man of her dreams. Next time Wally, "write what you know."
