Summary: Captivating
Review: Just a note to let you know that I really enjoyed your book. I think most people know of someone like the characters in your book. Threesome was captivating, and intriguing. It made you see beyond the outward appearance of each charcter.

Summary: This novel starts off with a bang!!! Literally
Review: Well they say good things come in 3's, but not in Sasha's case. Heartache is all she seems to get in 3's and their names are Cole, Trent and Phoenix. Sasha is a vixen wanna be victim to the 10th power, you will surely love to hate her. Cole is a married man just trying to have fun until his affair with Sasha turns deadly. Phoenix is a NBA spuerstar who wants to have his cake and eat it too. Sasha now has to decide between her career and her happiness. Unfortunately Phoenix does not make it easy for her. This novel starts out with a bang and gets more intense from there. Brenda has done a wonderful job with her first book and AsThePageTurns Book Club has surely put this down as one of their Top Books of 2001.

Summary: Romantic, Steamy, Thrilling, Exotic...
Review: Overall a great read... I was very impressed how the author was able to capture my interest and own it until the end of the story. The overall substance of the story overwhelmed me. The author was able to guide me through the story as if I actually knew the characters. I again was awed with the sensual content of the story and the steamy and exotic love making scenes. This story is about a young lady encountering the demons of lust but pleading to be loved and appreciated for who she is. Sashas' mother died in childbirth; therefore she never knew her mother and her father raised her the best he could consider the situation. All in all, Sasha was looking for someone to love and appreciate her and she thought she found it with Cole, however, Cole was married and could only give but so much of himself. Phoenix the basketball star, young, fine and alluring hired Sasha to be his personal consultant, however, Phoenix had other intentions and throughout the story you will see how these two men played a large part in Sashas' life and the impact of both men. Again, I did enjoy this book, and I understand Ms. Thomas is a new author therefore, I would like to welcome and encourage her to continue writing, this was a great book and a serious story with substance. "You've got to love and respect yourself" first and foremost...

Summary: Wet Sensation!!!!
Review: Brenda Thomas captured the essence of every character in Threesome, especially, Sasha. The graphic description of each event was very powerful and real. I was so into the book that it made me feel like I was one of the characters. It tantalized every inch of my body and soul. It was very seductive and gave me a clearer vision into the distorted world of sex, power and control. It is definitely a book to read when you are alone (...). Brenda Thomas has out done herself in writing Threesome. E.Lynn Harris and Toni Morrison look out cause Brenda Thomas is on the loose! Good Luck to Threesome!

Summary: Excitement In Print
Review: The sub-title Seduction, power and basketball really says it all. The main character is a Vamp with alot of power and brains and the 2nd supporting character is an NBA athlete with the power to seduce even a black-widow. The book was fun and easy to read and left me curious (and hopeful) as to whether the author will write a sequel.

Summary: Don't Believe the Hype!
Review: I have to say that I am somewhat disappointed in the storyline of the book. There are lots of hot sex scenes, which I enjoyed, but I don't think the writer delivered the story in a way that kept me excited or longing to know what happened next. The writer seemed to jump subjects quick, seeming like she was trying to squeeze some thoughts into this very short novel. It just depends on what type of author's work you are use to reading. I just discovered Brenda Hampton and am reading all her books back to back. So sometimes that can throw a reader off when a new author's skill level doesn't equate to what you are use to. Don't get me wrong, the book is worth reading, but don't expect to have your socks knocked off. If you want to read a book of short stories that are all the bomb, read "Around the Way Girls". It is off the hook!

Summary: Self Destruction
Review: Powerful, Sexual, and Direct, are just a few words to describe this novel. The story draws you into the pages from the beginning with a tragic event, which set's the pace for dectructive behavior from the main character, Sasha, who despite being in her thirties and 50 percent to blame for the tragedy, still has not learned any lessons from the past events in her life.
Sasha moves on to a new job as a personal assistant to a 23 year old NBA all star named Phoenix. He is tall dark and handsome. Being his P.A. she has to work very closely with him, which awakens desires that she has suppressed since the trial. Between Phoenix, a new love named Trent and a past married love Cole, Sasha goes from death, lies, and deceit to eventual self destruction. It seems as if she is living her life looking through a window at someone else, not realizing that the someone she sees is herself. She has a grown son and a girlfriend who try to steer her in the right direction but she chooses not to listen to them.
Ms Thomas. I like you writing style, this book was short and easy to read. I was right there with Sasha urging her to do the right thing. But no, she would not listen. I won't give away anything, but I will say that I liked the ending of the story. Question: Did she really love any of these men or was it just her high sex drive talking?
Read this book and find out.
