Summary: Not My Cup Of Tea
Review: Jane Heller's "Name Dropping" really missed the mark. I found the storyline new and different at first glance but, was really saddened about a third of the way in. I was bored and not interested in anything about the story. I thought it all a bit over-dramatic and made-up. Just not my idea of a good read. I found it greatly lacking.

Summary: First time is a charm.........
Review: This was a "loaner" from a friend. I work in a Nursurey school where people have alot of mone and I could almost put the names of the children in the book to my class.

I was very impressed at how easy this was to read and it kept me interested and turning pages fast.

I love the main character, and I was always looking for some kind of loopole during the whole book.

Thank you to my friend for giving me this and "turning" me on to Jane Heller.

Summary: Great for the Mary Higgins Clark crowd.
Review: Two Nancy Sterns are living in the same luxury NYC highrise apartment building. One is a boring, mousy preschool teacher and the other is a beautiful, glamourous journalist. Mousy Nancy starts to mistakenly receive mail, flower deliveries and phone calls for Barbie Doll Nancy and decides to try on the glamorous lifestyle for a change. She accepts a date meant for the other Nancy and then the hijinks begin. This is a book written more for the Mary Higgins Clark crowd rather that the Bridget Jones/Jemima J. generation. No sex or violence to speak of, along with a highly unlikely fairy-tale ending made this book just a bit disappointing.

Summary: A MUST HAVE BOOK
Review: This book is so hilarious and funny. The story is so abnormal but very special. It is so special in its characters, events, humor and surprises! It is a laugh-out-loud book!

The characters in this novel are very real and live and it seems as you were watching a movie.

This book is highly recommended!

Summary: You'll be "dropping" everything to finish this book
Review: If you want a brief respite from fluffy romance novels or a gory] mystery, then read this book. I found it very entertaining. It certainly kept me guessing throughout the book, made me laugh, empathize with the "thirtysomething" pre-school teacher and finding myself not wanting the book to end; it was like saying good bye to a friend.

Summary: It really makes you wonder
Review: Preschool teacher Nancy Stern could be the "spokesperson" for every thirtysomething woman looking for a little excitment in her life. I love her character because she has a passion for teaching and helping children who in some cases are nothing but "trophies" in their parent's lives. Then "WHAM". She gets forced into another woman's life who just happens to have the same name she does. Having a "what the hell" attitude she accepts a phone call, meets a wonderful man, falls in love and changes her life for the better. Man, I wonder if there is a woman out there with my name with an interesting career.

Summary: Name Dropping
Review: This is a "cute book," with an adorable heroine, nice guy hero and many, many coincidences in the plot. It's not nearly as good as one of Susan Isaacs' books, which are frothy but intelligent. If you want to read something that's non-demanding but a bit more substantial than a Harlequin romance, this book is ideal. I was sorry I paid for the hardback.

Summary: Major waste of time
Review: If only I'd listened to Sharon and Martina, I wouldn't have wasted my beach time on this one. The characters are thin and the plot coincidences unbelievable. This shouldn't have passed Fiction 101.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A beach favorite!
Review: This book has romance, wit, mystery, and suspense. What more could you ask for? I devoured this book at the beach. It kept me in suspense the whole time. Luckily, I leave in sunny Florida, which means that I am able to read at the beach all year. This is an awesome summer read. Get Name Dropping today!

Summary: Wow Jane Heller never ceases to amaze us
Review: I cannot even find the correct wording to explain this book. I am not an avid reader by any stretch of the imagination. I started Name Dropping at work one night and within 24 hours I was done. No the book was not small..I was so intruiged that I could not put it down. I eventually put it down to sleep but the next morning I was up and my nose was in the book.

Cheers to you Jennifer
