Summary: Thoroughly Enjoyable!!!!
Review: This is my first time ever reading a Judy Blume book. It took me less than 24 hours to finish. It was captivating and very real, I can definetly identify with many of the issues. In fact, I will be sending a copy of the book to my best girlfriend in Jamaica.

Summary: Not what I expected!!
Review: I actually read this book twice. The first time, just the first 3 chapters, and I took it back to the library as I couldn't get into it. Checked it out again a few weeks later, and couldn't put it down!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Summer Sisters is a book that, once read, can't be let go.
Review: I grew up with Judy Blume and was excited to read Summer Sisters. I found myself drawn into the story almost immediately, and when things seemed to be falling apart for Vix, I worried as if she were a real person. I loved the ending to this fairy tale at the Vineyard and this book has haunted me ever since. After reading the last page, I called my best friend and begged her to read it. Vix Leonard and Caitlin Somers are two characters who will live in my mind forever.

Summary: Judy Blume, The Best At Her Craft!
Review: The delicious feeling I had when I possessed a new Judy Blume book came rushing back to me once again when I bought this book. Since my first novel, "Blubber," which I read with greed on a Christmas afternoon on my grandparents couch, I was hooked. I read, "Are You There, God, It's Me, Margaret," thirteen times (I counted). "Summer Sisters" takes Blume fans back to what it was like when we were thirteen and beyond, back to the reality when our best friend was the most important person in our world. I read this book in one day, and was truly sorry when I finished. A wonderful summer read!

Summary: Judy Blume is back in my life
Review: I used to read Judy Blume books non-stop when I was younger. I was so excited when I saw her on CNN one morning talking about her new book. I bought it as soon as I could find it, and couldn't put it down after that. I lent it to my best friend from High School. It reminded me of the two of us a lot. She enjoyed it as much as I did and reminiced with everything that happened with the two girls.

Summary: Forgettable Summer Sisters
Review: I haven't read anything from Judy Blume since I read Freckle Juice and Are You There God...when I was a kid, and I have to say I was disappointed. I didn't care all that much about what happened to Vix, and even less about Caitlin. Blume's other books are timeless and unforgettable. Unfortunately, Summer Sisters is not up to par, and is entirely forgettable.

Summary: Wonderful, enlightening, heartwarming and charming
Review: I have read Judy Blume as a child and still enjoy her just as much now as I did then. This book makes you laugh and cry. Everyone needs a friend like Caitlin and everyone wants a friend like Victoria. Wonderful book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This was the kind of book you will want to read again!
Review: I enjoyed this book from the very beginning. For anyone who has ever had a "Summer Sister", this is the book to read. The characters were wonderful and you could identify with either Caitlan or Vix. I identified with Vix. If you read only one book this summer, this is the one to read.

Summary: Not that Great
Review: I had never read a Judy Blume book before, so I gave it a try since I hear obout all these people who absolutely adore her work. I was disappointed when I read it though. It was boring and I did not relate to the characters well but I am willing to try her next one, it may be better.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Judy Blume should write more adult books
Review: I would highly recommend this book. Like many of us I read all of Judy Blume's books growing up & I'm still not dissapointed. This book reminds you of all the friends & situations you experience as you grow older. It reflects how the different influences in your life affect your decisions you make.
