Summary: I could not put it down.
Review: The story of Caitlin and Vix was poignant and honest. The strong emotions of the book are emotions that anyone who has ever deeply loved a best friend has felt. The story, the emotions, and the characters are true to life and express thoughts and feelings that, however privately, belong to us all.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: These characters are difficult to like!
Review: I struggled with this book. I found most of the characters to be so shallow and selfish that I really didn't care if I finished the book or not.

Summary: An adult book?!
Review: Judy Blume was the author who developed my love of reading. Where has she gone? When I heard she had written a novel for adults I ran out and bought it. What a dissapointment. This book is Deenie with sex and Are you there G-d It's Me Margaret with masturbation. Again, what a dissapointment

Summary: A realistic story of two girls' lives.
Review: I loved this book!!! I never read except for required books, and I couldn't put this book down. I loved everything about it with the exception of the last part of the book. I felt as if the end of the plot was being crammed. Otherwise, I reccomend to all ages...esp. teenagers.

Summary: A great read!
Review: Like many other readers, I found that I couldn't put this book down, and finished it in less than 24 hours. I loved the characters and couldn't wait to see what happened to them next. I think most everyone can relate to this kind of friendship. Overall, it's an easy, quick, entertaining read.

Summary: Reminisce back to the days of growing up!
Review: Being a loyal Judy Blume reader, I was excited to hear about her new book. I read it in one sitting. The book was very lively...it is easy and fun reading. The ending could have been better, tho.

Summary: Incredibly moving book; great for a long weekend!
Review: I remembered Judy Blume from reading as a kid and happenned across her book her on Amazon and decided to buy it. I am SO glad that i did buy it. This was one of the most moving books I've read in ages and got me right back to reading the way I used to!

Summary: Excellent
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. I have always loved Judy Blume's Novels. This one I read in two weeks! It is nice to see that Judy Blume is writing adult books as well as children's/young adults books. I plan on giving this book to my sister for one of her engagement presents. Caitlin & Victoria are very interesting people. I can't say enough about this book. I think that every woman should have this book on their bookshelf.

Summary: This is the worst book I've read in a long, long time.
Review: Wow! No one in my book group enjoyed this book, despite being fans of Judy's work twenty years ago. What gives? We'd like to know. There are so many better novels out there. This one reads like a very bad sex chat between two dense chicks. And I do mean dense. We didn't like the characters at all, and why else do you read? Worst novel of the year, we say.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: I thought that this book was excellent. I am 17 and the relationship between Caitlin and Vix is not like any that I have, but it was very thought-provoking. The book goes through about two decades, and it is interesting to see what the characters will go through. I wonder what will happen with my friends and I in that time.
