Summary: You MUST read this book!!!
Review: Judy Blume is a master! This book is absolutely wonderful. It is fast-paced and easy to read and it will make you laugh and cry. This book allows you to become so close to the characters because they are so easy to relate to. Everyone can surely relate to the struggles of adolescence and friendship that Vix and Caitlin endure. I suggest that every woman read this book, it is a perfect summer read. You will not be dissappointed.

Summary: I feel as though Judy has followed me through my life.
Review: At various stages in my life, Judy Blume has written about young girls/women in situations so similar to my own, I feel as if she knows me. I have enjoyed every book of hers that I have read. She deals with sex as realistically as she deals with life and everything else. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it every opportunity I had until I finished it.

Review: Summer sisters is an excellent book. i had a lot of laughs while reading it. thought it was hard to folow the character, at times, i really enjoyed it. i agree with one reviewer, this book was a bit young for me. i was expecting a more of an adukt womens book. but it was stil excellent.

Summary: A completely entertaining summer read!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed Caitlin and Victoria's story. I could not put it down and did not care if my kids needed a snack-they had to wait! It brought me back to places I forgot I'd lived through and reminded me of kids I'd known and the kid I was. Take this book on vacation-you'll be glad you did!

Summary: A great story that's hard to put down.
Review: Summer Sister's is a wonderful Judy Bloom book for young adults. I read her children stories as a youth and was excited to hear that she was coming out with a new book. The plot was easy to follow and I didn't want to stop reading even when it was over. I would reccomend this book for all.

Summary: Not For Adults!
Review: As a teenager I read all of Judy Blume's books and absolutely loved them! Thus, I was looking forward to reading Summer Sisters. The book may be a worthwhile read for young adults and teenagers but the notion that it is an adult book is a joke. The characters are all very superficial and the story is banal. In essence, it was a disappointing read.

Summary: If you have an inseparable best friend, READ THIS!
Review: This book is just great! It's fun to see how the two best friends interact in this book and compare it to your own friendship! I didn't want it to end.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An engaging book; a good summer read.
Review: I found this book to be in the tradition of Anne Rivers Siddons novels: an amusing but also somewhat tragic story with a female heroine. In this case, there are two female leads, but the majority of the story is told from Vix's point of view while Caitlin remains enigmatic. Overall, this was an enjoyable, if somewhat predictable, read.

Summary: An amazing journey into women and life-long friendship.
Review: Blume captures the unique situations and thoughts which are the backbone of life-long friendship. I couldn't put it down, and when I finished it, I wanted to start all over again. The ending is as unpredictable as the tale, and I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Oh my god...read this book!!!
Review: This has to be one of the greatest books that I have read in a long while. Blume has simply outdone herself this time. " Wifey" was great. But this book is just so realistic. You can actually put yourself into the characters places. I finished the book a week ago and I still think about it. READ IT. You will thank yourself.
