Summary: One of my faves since 1984!!!
Review: I first came across this book when a friend in high school handed it to me. She had gotten it from the school library, it was ragged, tattered and faded. Nonetheless, she was very adamant and so I read it and was hooked. I have been looking for this book since I first read it in 84. Excellent; action; romance; and sympathy all mixed in one. The story was very compelling and moving...something that I have not experienced with any other book that I have ever read. What is more provoking is that most of the book is true, but it gives you a different outlook than the history books...Cynthia's outlook on things and her perspective. Very moving and this book is a must have.
