Summary: Could'nt Put the Book Down , One of Cusslers Best
Review: Science Fiction, says it all . Clive Cusslers Raise The Titanic was exactly what I hoped the book to be, reading his best written , and for its ttime and what was actually known about the Titanic a great job. I love a Hero and Pitt was all that and more. I liked the movie too,and it's a shame it isn't available on VHS any more ..To me it is a Classic...Cussler knows how to keep you interested and he did that in all of his works.

Summary: They didn't know about the gash...
Review: How would Clive Cussler know about the 300 ft. gash in the side of the titanic. when he wrote the book the titanic had not yet been found.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Outstanding read
Review: As usual, Cussler takes the reader into the heart of the action. Seeing as how the real Titanic was 8 years after Dirk Pitt 'saw' it, it was amazingly realistic and thoroughly believeable. Cussler again makes us a part of Dirk's adventure. 2 Thumbs up for Cussler and all his work..the ONLY hardcover author I buy.

Summary: THE BEST WORK I'VE READ BY CUSSLER YET!!!!!
Review: I can't think of Cussler ever topping this one. This is the pinnacle of his writing. A far fetched story true, and some of the details of the Titanic are a little off. But hey! It was before we ever knew where the Titanic was on the ocean bottom. Fast paced, action packed, with a new and amazing twist or turn in almost every chapter, this is a book no Cussler, Titanic, action, or marine excavation lover should be without. This belongs on everyone's bookshelf!

Summary: amazing
Review: I think that the book and movie were incredidble considering that it would be 8 yrs.until we found the Titanic.storyline was good .I do think that the bow should have come up first like in the movie though

Summary: great job...by the master......Clive Cussler
Review: Considering the book is written long before the Titanic was discovered, this is a fascinating book. i agree with one of the review that the Titanic is impossible to raise, since it's seaperated in two parts and the idea of running the derelict boat through a hurricane is certainly a bit inconceivable, which is why i gave it 4 stars instaed of 5. Anyway, Mr.Cussler did a real nice job in wrapping it up - answering all the question at the begining of the book and tied up all the loose ends. It's just a masterpiece.

Summary: Oustanding - Cussler's best work (and I have read them all)
Review: While many of Cussler's recent Dirk Pitt novels have become self-indulgent, preachy, and outrageous to the point of being silly, this one is definitely a clasic. I found this novel to be fast-paced with plenty of plot twists, while remaining a fun and easy read.

Summary: Intense filled murder mystery
Review: This book was a real thriller. It is intereting to see what people thought the Titanic looked like under water ten years before we really knew what happened. I know that almost everyone back then thought that the Titanic was sunk because of a 300 foot gash. That is because they figured that was the only way it could sink because they all thought it had been unsinkable. It was interesting because I know that those facts are wrong. The book pulls you into the swirling world full of mystery. I loved how Dirk Pitt was able to put all the facts together at the end. Gene Seagrams breakdown was well put. I also loved how you were able to answer the questions given in the begining. An incredible book that was well written

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Wonderful writting, wonderful suspence, a great book.
Review: I should have put down four and a half stars, cause it's that good. Someone wrote down about how the facts about the Titanic are way off. Yes, they are, but this book was written years more than TEN years before the Titanic was found and studied. He was writting what he thought the Titanic would look like after 76 years under water, and he did a fine job in discribing what the hull looks like after all thouse years. Plus, it is a work of FICTION, ok, as in "Not real". Being that it is fiction, it is a fine one at that. The suspense keeps you turning pages wanting to find answers, and the characters are believeable. The downfall of Gene Seagram was very well done. Imagine if all you lived for, all you worked for, what you put all your money on, was found to be worth nothing, disspossed in less that a day. I would probably break down. It is a great book, a very enjoyable book, and one that keeps it's head-on pace right to the very end.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Since 1979 I wait anxiously for each new Dirk Pitt adventure
Review: This is the book that hooked me 20 years ago. I have never been dissappointed since. Mr. Cussler's work is excellent.
