Summary: Ladies
Review: First of all, let me say that the title alone made me buy this book. How funny is it? Anyway, this is an amusing, entertaining read.Who knew there were so many different types of guys who are, um, that are really like that.Who should read this? Well, just about anyone. Clearly the book is aimed at women who want to have serious, meaningful relationships and sure, it can help some get out of dead-end relationships. If a guy is not calling your good friend, and she comes to you for advice, don't tell her she's so fabulous and wonderful that he's probably too intimidated to call her, tell her he's probably not interested and she should move on, don't waste your time. Also, for women in serious long-term relationships--reading this one will give you some light-bulb moments vis-a-vis those old, failed relationships. And should guys read this? Why not? Tips on how not to be a jerk and what it does to women when you are. Date responsibly, and all that. Enjoy this one!
This book is not going to cure your case of acute boyfrienditis,
but it will definitely have you laughing about it!

Summary: This is laughably bad
Review: How on earth did this get published? Beyond the atrocious grammar, broken sentences, spelling errors, and horrible character development, this book is so bad it's laughable. Here's one line that will stay with me for a long time:

"America was a word called freedom."

I burst into laughter after reading that sentence. There are loads of others in this book that kept me howling -- for reasons the author did not intend. All the good reviews here seem to stress how riveting the story is. I can only assume these people are also riveted by People magazine or Cosmo. The characters in this book are not only shallow and plastic, but the ludicrous relationships and hilarious sex scenes are the hallmarks of immature fantasy. I recommed this book to anyone who wants to see how easy it is for any garbage to get published these days. You'll laugh for hours!

Summary: I can't stop laughing it is Great!
Review: I am so amazed with this book. It is a wonderfully humorous look at today's publishing world. The author must have a great sense of wit and humor to write such a witty book in order to prove a point. She combines , a unique concept of writing ability, and writes a book that points a finger in the face of people in the publishing world. She makes a remarkable criticism of today's publishing world by satirizing it in this humourous piece of literature. I give this 5 stars plus. No one would write such a witty book unless they were trying to prove a point: it takes ability and creativity to get the point across. All it takes is a money and some influential Hollywood friends, political ties, and a billionaire backing you up to make a bestseller like this. Controversy really sells. I wouldn't be shocked if she persuades J.K. Rowling to write a foreword in her next book.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I bought this book on the basis of the other reviews. I don't know. Are we reading the same book? The characters are not very well-developed, and the editing of the book was quite shoddy. The story idea was good, but the execution of it was extremely poor.

Summary: He's Back
Review: I don't think I could possibly say enough good things about this book. The combination of 2 of my favorite subjects (mystery and obsessive love) in an extremely well developed plot and storyline, intelligent novel made this an instant favorite. Not only will it keep you interested (I read it in just a few hours because I refused to put it down) but you can learn so much from it. You will literally feel smarter when you put the book down after finishing than you did when you first picked it up. That in itself makes it a must read!
There will of course be a (very) few, such as the anonymous reviewer that posted a few days ago, that are afraid and intimidated by the presentation of this unique and rare book, and who don't know how to spell (recommend) . But those few are people who find little enjoyment in fun and intellectual activities. Most people read People and women love Cosmo. That said, I would whole-heartedly encourage all book lovers to snap this book up ASAP and dig in. But I'm warning you - you won't come up for air until the very last paragraph has been read! I'm also a fan of her gossip column, StarGazing.
And if you like Keanu Reeves, you'll have to read this week's article.

Summary: This Book is Going Back
Review: I feel compelled to warn potential buyers that this is the most poorly written book I have ever (attempted) to read. I couldn't even make sense of it. It started out in the first person of one character, moving on to the third person of another character, and then finally the main character arrives in the third person (at least I think he was the main character--oh well, character-shmarachter, I say); at one point he was walking around on crunches. What are crunches?? I couldn't take another double-spaced, manuscript-typed, misspelled page! By the way, it is "published" by a company I now know to be a self-publisher. Next time I'll do my research before I place my order. By the way, I'm giving it one star because it's a great title.

Summary: Quick and Entertaining
Review: I found this book after reading Amazon readers of favorite books lists. I was not dissapointed. It is a very quick read and developes the main characters nicely. I love the ending. It is obivious that this is a "first book" and the editing is not good as it should be; but, I knew I was reading this one for fun and that is what I had! Fun and a little thought provoking at the end with it's nice reminders about life.

Summary: So-so
Review: I wasn't impressed with this book. I just plain didn't enjoy it. Bottom line.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Horribly disappointing
Review: I would not recommend this book to anyone other as a "what not to do" when writing a novel. The grammar, writing style, editing, and lack of character development totally detract from the mediocre plot. I honestly feel the author had a good idea for a storyline and for her characters. However, the book falls short of hitting the mark.

Summary: How did this garbage get published?
Review: I've never reviewed a book before, but I feel an obligation to implore readers to PLEASE not waste your money! It was as if a fifth grader who'd read too many self-help books wrote it. As mentioned in another 1-star review, the author had no grasp of the English language. I thought that maybe this reviewer was too nitpicky about grammar, considering all of the 5-star reviews, but now I think that those other reviewers must have been hired by the author. It seemed like not even one person proofread the book before it was published.

Also, while the concept was OK, the characters were very two-dimensional. The main character was decribed as a psychopath who was incapable of love, but the author never explained his point of view or thought processes in a way that could really give the reader any insight into the psychopathic mind. Seemingly smart women all fell madly in love with him (mainly with the sex, which was often described in detail), but it was unclear what made him so attractive or what was mentally wrong with the women to be attracted to such a selfish man. He never displayed any redeeming qualities, other than good looks and sexual skill, but these perfectly normal women were obsessed with winning him over. The author needs to look deeper into the minds of the type of women who get involved in these loveless relationships and explore the vulnerabilities that make them susceptible. Normal women would not be attracted to this man! Because of this lack of insight, I had difficulty relating to anyone in the book or caring at all about what happens to them. It was trite, boring and amateurish.
