Rating: Summary: IF YOU BUY JUST ONE BOOK THIS YEAR, BUY THIS ONE!! Review: I, NEVER in my life, had ever liked reading books as a kid, cause they were boring to me, and it would take me an hour just reading three pages. About three years ago, I started reading, and it was enjoyable. BUT, this book was sooo good, I ACTUALLY GAVE UP SLEEP to finish it! It took me a day and a half to finish. I truly enjoyed this book. It was all that.
Rating: Summary: Riveting! Review: Shame on it all, I must admit in the beginning I kept asking myself where's this story leading to? There was an abundance of sexual scenes explicitly described almost to the point of overkill. My only thoughts were, and...so??? However, the three sister's Harmony, Bryce and Lucky did share a strong bond, and throughout this story their sisterly love is proven. IMO their individual personalities (other than how they got their groove on) could've been more indepth and developed. I did find myself amused by the comical words of the commerical interruptions included in this story, "by its sponser," that was humorous and unique. This prolonged the anticipated suspense of the entire story. Plus, made for a good laugh. I also applaud the author for mentioning (a few times) reference and promotion of her other book in this story. That was a clever advertising move! All and all, even though Zane wrote of serious issues with added spice and humor, I did immensely enjoy this book. The ending was a total surprise to me. I thought the donor kidney responsible for saving Harmony's life was Bryce's. But, I was wrong! The preceding scene where Harmony is hospitalized in ICU and ready to "go home," was written with such intense emotions expressed. I actually found myself wiping tears from my face. I certainly do look forward to reading more from Zane and encourage her to definitely Keep the Creativity Flowing! Btw, who is Zane? Why does she keep herself in hiding? Just an ending thought to this review. :-)
Rating: Summary: Expecting More Review: Well I was actually expecting a little bit more from this book. It was okay to a point but I did not like Zane using a serious situation in with so much sex. I believe she should have just stuck to the erotica and sex and not have included a dramatic situation with it. I also had a problem with the ending. Why wait so long to let us know what you figured out already? I was not impressed.
Rating: Summary: ...a book worth buying and reading! Review: If you have never read anything by this author before then I feel I must warn you. If you are as the author describes, "sexually repressed" and have a problem reading explicit scenes discussed in explicit details, then this is not the book for you. :) Shame On It All has been one of the best books I have read in 2001. Once you get past the sex and somewhat annoying commercial breaks the book really focuses on the bond between three sisters and their friends. These women would do anything to a sister or friend in need. When I say "anything" that includes dressing up as "Black Biker B's from Mars" to donating a kidney. Shame On It All is a book worth buying and reading. -JeT
Rating: Summary: Wild and Crazy!!!!!!!! Review: After thoroughly enjoying Addicted, Zane's first 5 star novel, I attempted 3 times to read Shame On It All and for some reason I couldn't quite get past the prologue. Now that Zane's Heat Seekers is forthcoming in the very near future, I decided, I must read Shame On It All. I picked this book up Sunday and was finished Monday. What a WILD and Crazy story about 3 sisters who are about as close knit as glue to a cotton ball. All the sisters have had some type of trouble in their lives from teenage years into their adult years when it comes to men. The story weaves in and out of each sisters' lives in the dating world and the story adds some spice with the friendships of two additional women who are just as crazy. Some of the things these women go through is so......out of this world, you'd have to read the book because you wouldn't believe it if someone simply just told you. Both the sisters and the friends come to bat for each other through some lying, cheating and being used scenarios, that's bound to keep you laughing until you're crying. If you havn't yet peeked at Shame On It All, you're missing a really hilarious story. But beware, some of it's contents are pretty explicit with no words minced!
Rating: Summary: Straight up Sister Review: The characters in the book are straight up sisters. They had each others back no matter what went down. I couldn't put this book down and I have started to recommend this book as must read. The ladies in this book are very freaky. I must admit that they do get they're freak on. The story line and family togetherness is special they have a bound that all sister should have...
Rating: Summary: This is one of zanes best creations Review: Zane I have read many of your books and I am a big fan. This book just tops it off big time. Shame on it All, seemed like zane took a different approach but worked it out. I loved and please dont stop.
Rating: Summary: Another Side To Zane! Review: Shame on it All shows another side to Zane. This book was not only about sex but about the sometimes turbulent relationships between Harmony and her two younger sisters Bryce and Lucky. I really enjoyed this book, although it was erotic, it was also funny as hell. Some of Zane's so called loyal fans, didn't really give this book the credit that it deserved. I love the other side of Zane, and I really hope that she continues to write a broad range of stories that explore not only our sexual emotions but others as well.
Rating: Summary: Totally Engrossing Review: This has to have been the sexiest, most comically entralling book I've ever read. It is probably her most creative work thus far, and that is saying a LOT. The relationship between the three sisters is amazing. Even further "Shame On It All" will set new a new precidence in the literary world. It is both erotic and romanctic. In reading this I experienced a variety of emotions, I laughed, I cryed and I eagerly await the next master piece from this wonderful author.
Rating: Summary: This book is the absolute bomb...page by page....... Review: A friend of mine introduced me to Zane's book Shame on it all, and I was not able to put it down. This book is about sisters, it is about family, it is about the ups and downs of relationships, it holds trust, love, togetherness and most of all it is real. I loved the concept of the book, the fact that Zane gave each and every character life. When one sister got ill, I was amazed at how she managed to keep it a secret despite the bond she shared with her other siblings. But when it all came down to the situation of life or death, her other sister came along to save the day. That is love-sister style. I must give Zane her props for such amazing taste in family, and for keeping the characters real. The pictures were also fantastic...this book is a must read, I promise you won't be upset.
