Summary: Nicely Paced Mystery
Review: Norrell prison Warden Louis Perkins and his wife were murdered in their home but, unforunately, this was just the beginning of the killing spree by the killers who only seem to have revenge on their minds. Agent Phoenix Perry and her partner Agent Kelly McPherson are assigned the case and it's their job to stop these killers before the death count gets way out of hand. But, in the process, there are some friends of Phoenix that end up murdered and this case becomes a very personal one for her.

Sugar & Spice by Keith Lee Johnson is a murder mystery filled with excitement, suspense, and more than enough surprises to keep readers interested throughout the novel. When you think you understand what's going on, a few pages later, you might realize that your guesses and assumptions were incorrect. Keith writes the book in short, concise chapters and the pacing of the story never feels bogged down, even though there are a lot of characters in this story.

Agent Phoenix Perry was a very fun character and this reader looks forward to more mysteries with her as the lead character. And, with Pretenses due out in June, the wait won't be long.

Summary: Revenge Is So Sweet..
Review: When an author approaches such topics as murder, mystery, justice, and revenge you hope that they have excelled in their criminal research to bring the reader to a state of heightened intrigue and unpredictable resolutions as well as introduce us to a variety of characters with felonious profiles. Keith Lee Johnson, author of "Sugar & Spice", delivers an epic tale involving a series of sordid acts that stem from several climatic events making the chase intensely crafted as the list of suspects and corpses grow.

For 10 years Norrell Prison, a prison known for its gang rapes, torture, drug trafficking, and prostitution, has been the place Alex and Sam have called "home". Shortly after their release a massive killing spree erupts beginning with their former warden of the prison and his wife. An act so savage that the FBI has been called in to take control of the matter.

FBI agents, Phoenix and Kelly, are assigned to ferret out the details with little to no clues and an ever growing list of suspects. With skill and prompt resolution desired, Agent Phoenix possesses the qualities that provide an intense exploitation and a culminating personal vendetta continuously offering readers a play-by-play of the rich and famous and and their not so elite counterparts, who fall victim to a mentally deranged killer.

Keith Lee Johnson has transported readers into a spiraling web of intrigue so graphic and complex that is leaves the reader on the edge of their seat until the final page has been turned.

Summary: Sugar and spice and everything nice¿not!
Review: Move over James Patterson and Detective Alex Cross, mayhem, murder and
mystery has a new team-Keith Lee Johnson and FBI Special Agent Phoenix
Perry. In SUGAR & SPICE: A NOVEL, author Keith Lee Johnson bursts onto
the literary scene with a spellbinding page-turner about a set of twins
with an evil set of minds. The twins are being paroled from prison after
serving a ten-year stretch. While in prison, they made the choice to stay
alive. In order to survive, the two chose to become the "property" of
those with the power to protect them and suffered many indignities as a
result. With hardened hearts, they used their free time planning to
extract revenge on everyone responsible for putting and keeping them in prison.

Now out of prison, with some major axes to grind, the twins set off on a
rampage of plunder, murder and rape that began on the east coast and moved
to the west coast. The brutal crime scenes left behind appeared similar,
yet unconnected because of the distance and the seemingly unrelated victims
involved. With little evidence found at the scenes, the job of solving the
crimes fell into the hands of one of the city's finest and she just happened
to be a sister. That's right, FBI Special Agent Phoenix Perry is a badge-
carrying African American female with the power and skill to make life a
little uneasy for the murderers. As Agent Perry uncovered the truth, she
put herself in danger and unearthed some truly shocking evidence.

Keith Lee Johnson has crafted a masterful tale of murder and mystery with
lots of twists and turns; some of which will leave you with your mouth
hanging open while holding on the edge of your seat. Mr. Johnson brings
an exciting new influence to this genre. He is one author to watch. The
novel is filled with short chapters for easier reading, unforgettable
characters for a memorable experience and an almost never-ending source of
surprises. This is excellent read and I recommend it highly. Guaranteed
to keep you glued until finished like I was.

Summary: Sugar & Spice and everything in between - I loved it!
Review: This book contains all the components of a great book, suspense through and through, mystery, character development and DRAMA. Keith Lee Johnson has done it again, but IM NOT surprised since he is the author of Little Girl Lost.

I amazed by his "staying power" and Im sure he'll be around for a long time.

Sugar & Spice a classic.
