Summary: Oh Drama
Review: "Revenge is sweet, but even sweeter when served by the hands of another," is what Sinclair Welch was told by her mother while growing up. After receiving evidence of her husband's indiscretions with not one, but two women, she disregards her mother's words and takes matters into her own hands.

As chance would have it, Aliette Pearly walks into Sinclair's life at a vulnerable moment. Sinclair recognizes her as one of the women who ruined her marriage and sets her plan for revenge in motion. Sinclair befriends her with the ulterior motive of ruining her, but with Aliette's destructive behavior and troubled past, she may self-destruct.

Stephanie Johnson has penned a drama-filled novel that could put any daytime soap opera to shame. SHE'S GOT ISSUES is a sexually charged, over-the-edge mix of drama and romance, and I could not get enough. There is also an underlying message of forgiveness, which was a key factor in the characters overcoming their issues. There were a few editorial issues, but aside from that I enjoyed the novel and have recommended it to friends and family.

Summary: Wonderful story
Review: "She's Got Issues" is compelling book that keeps you turning the pages. As a man, it was very interesting reading about the sometimes devious way of how women think. The themes of resolution and forgiveness make the book a must-read for anyone who has "issues" with lovers, friends, relatives or any other relationships. This book is a perfect gift to give to a sister or female friend.

Summary: I Can Testify
Review: I read She's Got Issues inside of one day. Aliette was coniving, deceitful and selfish. Sinclair was hurt, vulnerable and forgiving. The story behind these two women taught me that we as women have no idea what supressing our feelings can do. It turns us into people who we generally are not. Our emotions take over and force us to do things that we know aren't right. This was the case with Sinclair. She thought by divorcing Vernon, she had dealt with the hurt he'd subjected her to. It wasn't until she met the tramp, Aliette, that she realized that she had unfinished business with the issue of being cheated on.

Once Sinclair had gotten Aliette to hit rock bottom by giving Wayne, Aliette's fiance, the goods on his trifling woman, she was able to get over it, finally.

She's Got Issues is a great book and is a must read!

Summary: ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS BOOK ! ! - A MUST READ !
Review: I totally Love it!! I could not put it down, and read it from cover-to-cover when I opened it!

This book is a must-read for all women AND men. It is like a reality-check to the possibilities and consequences - whether known or unknown at the moment of our actions - and those of others involved.

As the story progresses, Sinclair shows us that sometimes things are not really as they seem - especially in a highly charged emotional situation, and we need to stop and re-think our actions, and make other choices.

Sinclair also shows us that despite the devastating, hurtful, and over-powering pain that the people we love, and others inflict upon us, we can survive. And, we can heal, forgive them and ourselves, grow into a better, stronger, more loving, compassionate person, and find true peace and happiness. After accepting these life lessons, Sinclair illustrates how she begins looking forward to the future, and making the necessary changes needed in order to become a happy and spiritually enriched person - to be the person she truly wants to be.

Stephanie has very ingeniously written this story not only for our own better understanding about the complexity of relationships, but also to give us pure enjoyment from the cleverness of her unique writing style at the same time.

I anxiously await her next creation! Yay!!!

Summary: I Guess The Book Is About Forgiveness
Review: Man, the issues in this book I don't know if I would have so readily forgave. I know that it is what God wants us to do, but dag, its limits...isn't it?

To befriend a woman that broke up your marraige is sure kind of hard to swallow, I know it would have been for me, but it dayum sure made a good story line. The issues that came up in this book are really realistic and understanding. Ms. Johnson had to have lived a part of this story herself to make is seem so real; I agree with another reviewer that is should be a movie.... a Lifetime movie.

The book starts off with drama and ends on a serene note with a possibility of a sequel.

Later....

Summary: Great Book
Review: One of the best things about this book is that it isn't culture specific. It addresses an issue that can happen to me,my daughter, my mother or the lady at the cash register..

Most of the books today are Urban Drama, guns and drugs and this was a new flavor that I enjoyed throughly. There are books that you read and enjoy and then there are books that you read, enjoy and take a lesson from. She's Got Issues teaches the lesson of forgiveness to Sinclair and shows how to open your heart even in the most trying of times. Not everybody has an ulterior motive. Ja'qazz was the perfect example of that. He let her heal and even after probably one of the best love scenes I've ever read, he still was man enough to know that her friendship was more important than bedding her.

Aliette's self destruction was self inflicted. She was selfish and thoughT of only herself. I think everybody knows a woman like her. She had to hit rock bottom and embrace her karma with Sinclair and that opened the floodgates of healing for her. But women like that NEVER get it. Stephanie, will there be a sequel? What a great story.

This author should be commended for going against the wave.

Summary: Men, Please get this book!!
Review: One of the main reasons why I think this book is good is because it has positive male characters. Granted Vernon cheated on Sinclair, Ja'qazz erases the negative aura of Vernon's character because he is such the gentleman. There are good men out there and Aliette is real too. There are women out there like Aliette as well. I don't know, I think that Aliette set a new standard for the skanks. They're in full effect and they're dressed in the finest of business suits. Nails and hair are done and while they are whispering sweet nothings to their husbands, they're knocking it down with some dude at lunch time or after work. Trust me!

Summary: sylvia from New York
Review: Reader from Florida, you must not have read this book because for sure it is a lesson in disquise.

Stephanie Johnson has tackled a milestone for many women who have been subjected to being played and have had the blessing to confront one of the deceivers. So many of us want to do this but don't have the nerve. Did Stephanie strike a nerve in the Florida Reader?

Keep it up Stephanie, writing about issues that people dare to write about. You have a follower in me.
Peace
Sylvia
