Rating: Summary: Drama filled Review: Stephanie Johnson is what i call the new, new milllenium writer. she weaves several interesting and entertaining characters in this book of love, revenge, and finding oneself. She's got issues is a must read, a page turner.
Rating: Summary: Movie Material Review: This book was great. Stephanie hit on the nail with the heartache a woman feels when she's been betrayed by the man she loves. It's a shame that as sisters, she and Patrice had spent so much time apart. Unfortunately, there are some siblings that are jealous of the other and do anything stir up trouble. In the end though, the devious, Aliette who had low self esteem is face to face with her reality. I hope to see a sequel to this because I'd love to know if Aliette really learned from her mistakes.Good job Ms. Johnson and love your site!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely loved She's Got Issues Review: This story of two women portrayed perfect examples of why people come into our lives. It gave me insight on how to let go and forgive. It also showed that they are still good men out there. Can't wait for book two from Stephanie Johnson!
Rating: Summary: It's About Time Review: When I first say the title of this book I asked myself what kind of issues she got, she kinda cute: she need mo' money from her baby daddy, her car broke down and she want her baby daddy to pay for it even though he's married now and moved on. I picked it up, put it back, left the mall. Then I turned around, went back to the store, and bought it. That made me late to the Child Support Office and my baby momma was trippin. But whatever. I started it as soon as I hung up on my baby momma and finished it in 4 hours. It's about time, somebody told the story of a simple chick who didn't realize that she had a good man and what would happen when she didn't take care of him. I tried to tell my baby momma the same thing but whatever. Aliette had issues from when she was a young chicken head. Everybody loves a freak, but she was stone cold ho'. It had nothing to do with the fact that she loved sex, she didn't love herself. She took other peoples emotions and toyed with them until she met Sinclair. Sinclair met Aliette one day, played nice, and planed her revenge. Sa-weeeeet! What I got out of this book is this: No matter how well we treat some of our women, SOME of them will never be satisfied!!!! Aliette hit a gold mind with being blessed with Sinclair's friendship. Sinclair stood as a WOMAN, who wasn't ashamed to confront her emotions, against a wanna be woman, who was selfish, self centered and didn't care whose feelings she hurt. And Sinclair STILL had a heart, saw that Aliette had no inner self, and put aside the issue at hand to save another sistah. After she blew her spot up of course. All I'm saying is when is the next one coming out One
