Review: This book was AWFUL compared to teh first! The storyline was both predictable and ludicrous!

I am going to spoil the book b/c I really REALLY want you to consider this before you buy it: FOR SOMEONE TO REGRET CHEATING ON HER HUSBAND ONCE (SHE CHEATED ON BRICE IN TEH FIRST BOOK AND NOW CHRISTIAN IN THIS ONE) SHE CERTAINLY DID IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! GIVE ME A BREAK! SHE CHEATED ON HER HUSBAND AGAIN RIGHT AFTER HE FOUND OUT! AND THEN HE TOOK HER BACK AT THE END. I GUESS LIFE REALLY IS HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

And Mia falling for someone who BEAT her tail within an INCH of her life made this book worse!

Ugh, this book was pathetic. I was really anxious to read this b/c I surprisingly LIKED The Ties That Bond. In that book, things made more sense. And I'm upset that Ms. Parks allowed Brice cheating w/Mia to cause Kree to stand up for herself. This book was awful and will be going on my half.com inventory list!

Review: This story picks up where "The Ties that Bind" leaves off. It is now 5 years later and Mia has divorced Brice and married Christian. They have a daughter together and appear to be happy. Mia is still haunted by her past with Brice. Brice has also remarried..... To a woman who looks exactly like Mia! While Brice and Christian appear to be happy, they both miss the close friendship that they used to share. Brice contacts Christian one day out of the blue and wants them all to meet. At first Mia is against it but she gives it and it changes their lives forever. Even though she once and still fears Brice, old feelings resurface and it leads to a betrayal that will shake them all. This book is a must-read!! Ms. Parks has done an excellent job!! I give it 5 stars!!!

Summary: Outstanding Sequel
Review: This was a fast read because you can't put it down. I was pulled into this story and found the characters and their emotions so feelable. What would you do if your abusive but sexy exhusband came back? I felt for her, I think I would have done the same. There was something about him that drew you to him even though he was evil. The end just blew me away.. Parks has some serious talent to weave a tale with such depth. I look forward to more from her. Outstanding Read.

Summary: Electa came STRONG with it.
Review: Turns out the "Loose Ends" from Ties That Bind were more frayed than I thought. Electa delivered a powerful, believable story dealing with the complications life can bring without taking the sugary/easy way out. The girl's got skillz indeed. Oh yeah. The steam was an added bonus. Looking forward to her future books.
