Rating: Summary: Wretched, dull Review: I don't know what anyone sees in this book. Complete neglect of logic; implausible plot twists; utterly stupid behavior introduced only to advance the lame plot: all characterize this very poorly written book. One example: the heroine excapes the bad guy, recuperates in hospital, and, despite the fact that the bad guy is still at large and knows where she lives (its where he found her in the first place), she returns to spend night there alone! Save your money and go buy any of the much better books by other authors in the detective/thriller genre.
Rating: Summary: Horrific, terrifying, excitingly scary novel! Review: "Kiss the Girls" terrified me...I stayed up until midnight three nights in a row, trying to finish it so I could sleep peacefully. Patterson's characters demand the reader's attention! From the beginning, you are drawn into the intricate, yet clear plot. While reading, one can imagine themself on the college campus discussed in the novel, going from innocent college student to horrified hostage in an instant. Immediately, you find yourself cheering on the heroine, turning pages quickly as she fights against the monster who has taken her. Perhaps that is the most terrifying realization in this book: the monster is human, and colder than imaginable to most others. Scary, horrific, terrifying; all elements are woven together in this excellent novel...it refuses to be closed!
Rating: Summary: This book is masterfully written! Review: In the city of Chapel Hill, a murderer named "Casanova" is stalking beautiful women that are extraordinary in their line of duty. Now Alex Cross gets drawn into the murder case when his young cousin Naomi Cross, gets kidnapped and taken to "his house of horrors''.My opinion of this book is that it was a thriller in the making. This novel is full of suspense and murders taking place in a big city. This book is masterfully written and has sharp 2-3 page chapters.
Rating: Summary: A Page Turner Review: This was a great book. I stayed interested in it from the beginning to the end, even though I had already seen the movie. It had a lot more action and was very exciting. I stayed up late at night because I couldn't put the book down. I reccomend this book to anybody that likes suspense and murder mysteries.
Rating: Summary: The book is better than the movie Review: The book Kiss the Girls,by James Patterson, is an excellent book. It's very fast paced and was able to keep my attention troughout. I found this concept fascinating. I was intrigued by how James Patterson had the two criminals being friends. I also liked how he had Alex Cross, a black detective who was very good at his job, being discriminated against in the South. The book was very well worded and well phrased. i was extremely surprised that the book ended as well as it did. I think it's fascinating reading and it made me want to read other books by Patterson.

Rating: Summary: The movie is also good. Review: I thought it was a very good book because it had plenty of action and suspense in it. The whole time I was reading it, I didn't want to put it down. The book kept me going the whole time by make me want to know who the kidnapper was while the whole time I didn't have a clue who it was. The book was very well writtem and it was very exciting. I recommend this book if you have not read it.
Rating: Summary: A REAL edge of your seat thriller. Review: This was a good book. I have not yet seen the movie. I am looking forward to seeing it to see how it differs from the book. I could not put it down. Awsome!
Rating: Summary: A great thriller! Review: I couldn't put this book down. Patterson does a great job of grabbing your attention and keeping it until the very end. He jumps from character to character in his short chapters which keeps the book moving at a very fast pace. The way he describe's Dr. Alex Cross makes you want to keep finding out more about him. Also, the many subplots throughout the story make it impossible for boredom. I give the book glowing recommendations for anyone who likes a good murder mystery and doesn't have a weak stomach. I'm just sorry that I've only heard bad things about the movie.
Rating: Summary: A Must for Suspense Lovers Review: The movie did this book no justice. James Patterson has a unique way of making you want to turn the page. I lost out on sleep trying to determine if I was right about who Cassanova was. Once you pick this book up, letting it go will be very hard.
