Rating: Summary: Okay I'm addicted! Review: The first couple in the series were hard to read. She writes very formally. British style. But I must admit, the characters are addicting! I can't wait to read the next one.

Rating: Summary: "Another shirt ruined!" Review: The most romantic and edge-of-the-seat book of the series, with a doozy of a surprise ending. For fullest appreciation, introduce yourself to the characters by reading prior books. "Snake" will then be all the sweeter and funnier and more poignant and suspenseful for it. This is a book for Amelia Peabody fans to cherish.

Rating: Summary: One of the Best So Far Review: This is a thoroughly enjoyable Amelia Peabody--the first one I simply could not put down until I finished. I found Ramses's letters utterly hilarious. ("I have three pounds 11 shillings.") At first I thought Amelia was annoying with her "7-Year Itch" but it was turned round on her in a touching way. There is a great surprise ending (though I was not surprised!). This one is really funny. You won't be disappointed!
Rating: Summary: Greetings to the cat Anubis Review: Unfortunately, I have read this series out of sequence due to access and feel encumbered by not being aware of the depth of some previous characters who have been resurrected for this saga. Ms. Peters is a perfect intellectual/romantic personality - rare in the Victorian age and rarer still today. Another outstanding work from Ms. Mertz/Peters. I can't get enough.
Rating: Summary: Good Gad! Review: Well Elizabeth Peters did it agian. This book has to be my favorite of the series. I laughed, I cried. I loved it. To loose someone like Emerson would have been hard on anyone Amelia Peabody Emerson is a very strong woman.
