PS: one of the best books I've ever read. Put me on The Path. The Ishaya Teaching actually stems from Advaita Vedanta. It is simply a series of techniques that help to quite the mind, reduces stress (similar to any meditation technique that quites the mind), and thereby expands consciousness. Very simple. Summary: Just A Teaser From A Con Man
Review: MSI is a con man who started a cult and lures people in with some delightful books (like this one) and courses. Once you sign-up for the cult, you go through 6 months of classic brain-washing. But it doesn't hold - most members leave before 3 years when they slowly realize it is all a scam. Read First Thunder at your own peril.

Summary: First Thunder by MSI
Review: Reading First Thunder has changed my life in ways that that I didn't even know were possible. I felt like the story was written specifically for me as each event in the book resonated a truth about me and my life. It restored my lost faith and gave me hope for both myself and for all of humanity. It is written in a fun yet balanced manner in so far that it made me laught, cry, and most of all love again. I will continue to read this book over and over for the rest of my life with Praise, Gratitude and Love.

Summary: The beautiful truth about first thunder.
Review: This book is a sales pitch for a cult. Because the book is a intreiging pitch and because the cult owns many lovely souls through Hindu-style initiatory ceremonies of secrecy (known as Puja ceremonies) does not alter the fact that it is so. Many people bought it (the book, the pitch, and the ascension seminars at a going rate of 70$ a technique or thereabouts after sphere one - which is quite good value as far as cults go).
However, the techniques are just lovely. Beautiful, power, lovely spiritual techniques. I highly recommend them, and I provide evidence below.
For instance, the praise technique is simply to take the word which indicates a Higher Power (not necessarily god!), and add it to this statement:
Praise -------- for my life.
So if you selected the words, "Higher Power", you would say "Praise Higher Power for my life."
It is okay to choose whatever you find inspiring and fulfilling to represent that part of the technique. It is best to stick with one regularly, more or less.
It's that simple! However, it is also extremely lovely and a powerful technique for releasing the illusion that the world "should" be different and that "things" are not "right". It reveals the perfection that is, and you can practice it to discover this in yourself if you use it reliably.
On the other hand, you could learn TM.
