Summary: Hey Black Racists-how about a slap back in the face?!!
Review: This is a brilliant book. Black leaders want blacks angry at whites, to keep themselves in power. They have also been successful by bullying whites with the word, "racist". Farrakhan, Jackson and Sharpton blame whites, just like Hitler blamed Jews, just like the communists blames the rich, and just like the KKK blames blacks and immigrants.

As for the idiot, Robert Lynch-these are the types of angry, whiny racist blacks that Peterson is talking about. By calling him an 'uncle Tom' and by calling whites 'racists' simply for liking his book, only proves Peterson's point about racism in black communities. By the way, black racists get a free pass. Name one famous black person that has lost his career or had to pay a large fine (after the year 1964) for making racially insensitive remarks. Exactly.

Also, people that hate black conservatives are the racists. They are stating that your skin color is supposed to dictate your political philosophy. That clearly contradicts MLK's colorblind society. And it's absurd to think this book will increase more hate crimes against blacks. WIll that hypocrite, Robert Lynch, stop rap music and all those anti-white messages being sold? Those have resulted in hate crimes against whites. You liberal hypocrites need to jump off a bridge, perferably head first.

I know this is off the topic, but do any other white reviewers get sick and tired of, say, black comedians and black rap arists who always blame whites and point the finger at us? If it were legal, I would put these people in Africa, and let them see how 'fabulous' the legal system is in Africa. I wish they would just quit whining and blaming white people for their problems.

Summary: Disturbing & unfortunate truths about our culture
Review: This is the story you dont hear in the media. If you think that Bill Cosby's recent speeches have any validity then this is the book for you. It has statistics that are absolutely frightening. If you think Bill Cosby's recent speeches are a myth, then this is also the book for you because you have been deceived. I know many Americans who blame their current problems on whites ... this book explains why that view is nonsense.

The out-of wedlock birthrate of black americans is over 70%, yet never a word about this from the NAACP or Mr. Jackson. This book gets a little emotive at times but is backed by many facts and statistics from a man who has been active to live what he preaches. A quick, informative read.

Summary: ALL have sinned
Review: Truth hurts. And the bible says that "the truth will set you free". I believe Peterson speaks the truth; however, lets not conclude that it is one-sided. The truth he speaks is accurate for all people, races, genders and political beliefs. Just as Jesse Jackson makes a living from his work, so does Hannity and other conservatives. Clinton was/is no different from Nixon; any named black preacher from Jimmy Swaggert; NAACP from KKK. We all have short-comings, hypocrisies and inconsistent behaviors. But Peterson does speak the truth and it should not be ignored. Lets not just look at it from one perspective. There is a biblical proverb that says, "any story sounds truthful until you hear the other side." We need to recognize that the society as a whole has lowered standards - blacks AND whites. Our focus needs to be identifying the truth and then resolving the ills. High values and high standards: the bottom-line from Peterson; for all people. When Hannity gets upset by liberals, it seems sometimes he forgets he is human (he merely needs to ask Rush). Peterson is right, but lets be careful to not point out some while ignoring others guilty of the same. I believe there has only been one perfect human to live (and it is not Peterson)...as for the rest of us - ALL have sinned.

Summary: See, Hear, And Speak no Evil
Review: Until recently thats been the practice. Well Reverand Peterson takes the establishment and black leaders to task in this book.

In his view, People like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton PROFIT much more from a black community that is mired in anger. People who feel like they have no voice will of course look for a leader and men like Jackson are only too happy to keep giving them reasons to be angry, then take their money and fulfill the role self created role of "Black Leader"

The public schools he says are not teaching kids, but breaking them away from families while at the same time not teaching them any of the skills kids need to suceed in life. This also keeps people from escaping poverty, leaving intact an angry poor community ready to vote for politicians who cash in on that anger and then reward the Teachers Unions by keeping the policies that ruined the schools in place. Again, all with the support of the very wealthy black leadership. It is a facinating read and Reverand Peterson writes with a passion for the subject that will keep you engrosed.

I recomend the book especially because it expresses opinions not normaly heard in the grander political discussions but which, if you look at pols taken in poor neighborhoods on school vouchers, may be more common than anybody thought. Under the surface true but no doubt there.

Summary: Astounding Insight
Review: What an eye-opening, truthful book. This will likely never see mainstream because presenting the truth this way is politically incorrect, even for a black man. But people would do well to take note of the author and make the necessary changes if the black race wants to see an end to some of their suffering. Heeding this man is far wiser than the Jessie Jackson method of shaking down corporate America for it's sins while fathering illigitimate children and spewing anti-semitism. VERY good read.

Summary: Finally...
Review: Wow, finally someone has exposed these phony black leaders. This is what many in the black community have known and quietly murmured about for years, but have been too affraid to voice publicly. I admire the authors courage for writing this book. I've seen Rev. Peterson on TV before and have admired his moral and principled stance from a distance. But, I had no idea he was having such an impact. The information revealed in this book about Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakhan, and others is shocking and disturbing! I had no idea that so much corruption is going unreported. Rev. Peterson will probably be one of the most reviled people in America after some of these leaders learn of his book. SCAM will obviously stir up anger, hate, and hopefully debate within many in the black community. I'm just happy that finally someone has written such a fascinating book--God only knows black people and America need it!

Summary: Finally...
Review: Wow, finally someone is telling the truth about what many in the black community have been quietly murmuring about these black leaders for years! SCAM is a breath of fresh air and I appreciate the authors (Rev. Jesse Peterson) courage in writing this book--no doubt he must be one of the most reviled black people in the country. I've seen Mr. Peterson on TV before and have admired his moral and principled stance, but, I had no idea he was having this kind of impact. The information revealed about these black leaders is at times shocking and disturbing! And most of it was new to me. I'm sure this book will stir up debate and even anger amongst many others within my race. I'm just happy to see that finally such a book has been written--God only knows that black folks and the country as a whole needs to read this book!
