Rating: Summary: Vin's essays may be the cure for cultural insanity ! Review: I have bought this collection of essays for my niece, nephews and two of my (grown) children. I hope they will grasp what is happening to this country. I hope they will get mad as hell and say no more. Not since Jerry Furland's novel "Transfer" have I read such an eye opening and chilling book. I grieve for those children, their parents, and even for the unbelievably callous acceptance of torture and murder committed by our own government against it's own citizens. While the flames at Waco have gone, the shame and the outrage of what was done there will burn forever. I know that anyone who reads this book will never feel the same again. Ever.
Rating: Summary: I LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT SO MANY THINGS! Review: I really appreciate this book. It made so many things clear to me. The public schools: why so many kids are failing, why they are getting in so much trouble. The media: why we can't trust what we are told anymore. The courts: why so many people seem to get railroaded. And why so many people, more and more every day, are losing their faith in, and respect for, their government, and actually coming to fear and even hate it.We could be on the brink of terrible times, unless we heed some of Suprynowicz' warnings, and begin to see things more clearly. I've got my mother reading it now.
Rating: Summary: The Ugly Truth Review: I was originally turned off by the title of the book. However, it had been recomended to me by a friend. I have to say that it turned out to be the most thoughtful, well reasoned, documented accounting of just how far out of control the Federal Government has gotten over the years that I have ever read. The point is driven home over and over again in this book that every Constitutional protection you thought you had can be abused, with no consequences, by the Federal Government. Think the money you worked hard for all you life is yours? Think again. Federal police, with local police support can seize it and any other property they covet with impunity. And the cop that takes it gets to profit in the transaction. Think you have a right to a trial by a jury of your peers? Wrong again. Jury picking has become an art, designed to eliminate anyone who may be sympathetic to your views. Think the Constitutional guarantee in the 2nd amendment means what it says? Well, you are probably breaking one of the 20,000 gun laws already in affect, directed against honest Americans like you and I, and don't even know it. And if you are caught by one of these "Special Militia" ( ATF, DEA, FBI that we were warned against over and over by the founding fathers) you will spend more time in jail than a bank robber. Think you cannot be murdered by the Federal Police without justice being done to the ones who murdered you or your family members? You are living in a dream world. This book should be required reading by every 9th grade civics class in America. But of course, as is pointed out in this book, these "Government Schools" will do everything in its power to ensure that your children will NOT understand the true meaning of our Constitution. This is a Must Read.

Rating: Summary: An absolute must for any thinker's collection. Review: Mr. Suprynowicz's: SEND IN THE WACO KILLERS is one of the finest collections of essays I have ever read. I have been an admiring reader of Vin Suprynowicz for five years. I have thoroughly enjoyed each of his polemics, not because he argues, but because he writes with honesty, integrity, and in a forthright fashion, the truth with which we find our daily lives lacking due to a multitude of reasons; of which none-the-least is ourselves. If you have ever sat back and felt the frustration: "Why do they do such stupid and evil things?" Then, this is a book for you.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME! ENTERTAINING, HEART-BREAKING, LIFE CHANGING. Review: Once I began reading this book, I could not stop until I finished. Then I read it again. Among the most important books I've ever read, "Send In The Waco Killers" contains so much truth that most people will have to read it over and over to get the full impact. Far from being a book about the Waco disaster, this is a book about us, as people, and our lives, and how it came to be that the terror and horror of such crimes against humanity as the Waco mass-murders have become expectable, virtually inevitable -- unless we begin to change our thinking. The author's style and humor, with his sense of irony, is wonderful, making even such explosive content so readable and understandable that some of the real-life villains he portrays may begin to 'get it' when they read it. It's certain they're going to hate it. Never have I seen such lucidity in analysis of the events of the day. Suprynowicz pulls no punches as he reaches into your visceral center and tears your heart with the real-life stories of people you may even know. I challenge anyone who begins this book, who reads just the introduction and first chapter, to stop. You will be caught up in the drama and will have to read on. One copy won't be enough. If you want to be able to read it in peace (and hang onto it afterward), you'll have to get copies for family and friends.
Rating: Summary: If Tom Paine and H.L. Mencken had a son, he'd be Suprynowicz Review: One of the few real newspaper editors left in America has written a book that says everything that needs to be said about what's wrong with our country, and even has a few ideas about how to fix it. I'm not naive enough to suggest you send a copy to your "representatives" in Washington; that would do as much good as a colonist sending a copy of "Common Sense" to King George (and probably get you an IRS audit). But you might want to give one to your favorite jaded libertarian. If you can get him to stop debating the finer points of Objectivism on the Internet long enough to read Chapter 3, he'll find out about something he can actually do to make this country free again.
Rating: Summary: Hard-Hitting, Well-Written and Timely Review: Other reviewers have already made the basic points that need to be made about this book. I will only add that it is every bit as good as they say it is, and should be read by every American who still has a functioning brain!
Rating: Summary: An excellent expose' of our current school problems... Review: This book covers our current government school problems and much, much more. Lost right, government excesses, and what to do to start curing some of these problem areas. ...this book isn't fiction, it's an authentic, factual book of essays on America culture, and the continual attempts of sociofascists to restrict intrinsic human rights access. An excellent read, a must for all school teachers, government or otherwise.
