Review: This book will knock your socks off! Absolutely stunning.
This book could very well be a piece of American History, in that it contains copies of the actual documentation of the conspiracy to murder President John F. Kennedy!
I could not believe what I was reading, yet there it was...all documented and backed up with proof.
It was as if I had secretly gotten into the goverments vault, and looked at the truth about the assassination myself, and in a way.. I did. You can too, and it will be well worth your money. Quite frankly, this may well be one of the most important books in the history of America. It is that good!
In this book, you will actually see the documentation of the conspirators, as they met together. You will see the dates that they met, the times that they met, and in many cases what they talked about. Absolutely incredible Book!
You will see the very dates when they decided to go through with the assassination plan, and when they decided to do away with earlier and alternate plans to overthrow our government.
Finally, the names of the conspirators are told, including the name that the grassy knoll gunman used on his passport!
The who, what, where, when, how, and why's are told, and finally, if these documents are true, the JFK assassination Conspiracy is proven beyond any doubt, and the Warren Report and Gerald Posner's "Case closed" book, are exposed as what they are.....the biggest lies in American political history.
Enjoy this book. You will want to cry at the truth about what happened, yet jump for joy that the conspiracy has been exposed.
You will walk away from this book, but you will never forget it. And may we never forget the day America lost its innocence. The day that our President was killed, and the day that we the people were raped of the truth. The Truth Shall set us free. This book has that truth. God Bless!

Summary: Could this Toll the End of All Conspiracy Theories?
Review: This is an outstanding work of nonfiction, which the reader may choose to take on faith. Most of Mr. Douglas' work is based partly on Freedom of Information Act inquiries and other documentation made privately available to hims from such individuals as former deputy director Crowley of the CIA. To his credit, Mr. Douglas does show reproductions of crucial documents, and the reader can judge the internal consistency of the material, cross-references, and the like.This book blows all previous theories of the assassination out of the water, in a subdued matter-of-fact manner, allowing the historical material to speak almost for itself. In that regard, it is chilling. For example, over 3,000 names of CIA "contacts" are reported by name, address, and zip code from Mr. Crowley's file. Certain heretofore "taken-for-granted" aspects of the behaviour of Oswald, Ruby, and the Dallas Police are analyzed easily to lead to quite different conclusions from other conspiracy theory and the Warren Commission Report, which emerges as a work of political fiction generated to pacify a terrorized populace and nervous leadership. This will change how you think about the asssassination and other aspects of government, and the consequences of your voting (or your vote not being counted). Your view of the purported democracy (or republic) you live in will change forever. However, this is worth the equivalent of a night at the movies on the same subjects, or a matinee with popcorn, plus you can reread it and show it to your companions, friends, and enemies!

Summary: A Hoax of Possible Meaning
Review: Three stars is generous. I should give it a 1 or a 0, but that ignores the paradox of this book. On the surface, it is well-footnoted, appendiced and indexed. A little deeper, my personal conclusion is that it is a hoax. I have been studying the Dealey Plaza history, evidence, forensics, folklore, myth, memoir, fiction and cinema for three years now. Since at least the mid-1990s, a significant segment of the research community has focused on Oswald's connection to David Atlee Phillips and the CIA "JMWAVE Grandstanders. There are now a range of theories all including Phillips as within the circle of people who planned and carried out the assassination. Oswald had been assigned to Phillips from February, 1961, and Oswald was seen with Phillips (aka "Bishop") by Antonio Veciana around August 14, 1963 -- the meeting of the three occurring for the purpose of getting perjured testimony that Oswald was a Cuban or Soviet agent. Phillips was an aspiring actor, playwright, and novelist -- in addition to the fulltime career as a CIA propaganda specialist and undercover operative -- culminating in a brief stint as Director of the Western Hemisphere Division. Phillips crossed paths with Richard Condon (producer, "Stalag 17" and author, "the Manchurian Candidate", 1959)-- one way or another -- as early as 1953. Phillips, who died in 1988 and wrote some five books (that we know of!) seems to fit the profile of the narcissist who loves to leave clues. Let us recap briefly the documents covered in the "Douglas" book: "Soviet Intelligence Report on the Assassination" -- called a "translation" for which no Russian original exists, is a fabrication. Consulting all sources -- for instance, the Mitrohkhin Archives of the KGB -- no such real document appears to exist. It is either false or most likely false that the Soviets knew any of the more shocking things stated in the "Intelligence Report". The "Driscoll Memorandum" and the DIA "Analysis Report" on the "Soviet" document. The "Operation Zipper" memorandum and schedule of conferences, implicating Angleton, Hoover, Sullivan, "Crowley", etc. as the "coup-plotters". The three documents -- and the author's discussion -- have an apparent objective of "proving" that (a) Angleton was at the core of the conspiracy, and (b) Angleton's "Monster-Plot" theory of Communist expansionism and his suspicions about Yuri Nosenko were correct. Yet, these might be precisely the stories Phillips would have wanted to proliferate as a last-ditch cover-up effort. If you read this book, make sure you also read Fonzi's "The Last Investigation", and take a look at page 190 - 191 of Phillips' "The Night Watch", 1977. Some researchers adamently argue that there is no real "Gregory Douglas", that there are no photos of JFK in flagrante delicto. Regarding Robert Trumbull Crowley's obituary, it is not in the Washington Post Archives, but what could be a forgery appears on the web site for the book publisher -- Monte Sano Media. Serious Kennedy assassination researchers -- some of them -- dismiss "Regicide" as pure junk. I agree, but it is most curious junk, and it seems to have a stink to it that is not altogether unfamiliar in the study of this singular crime of the last century.

Summary: The final word?
Review: Well, I've been looking into the assassination for 39 years now, and it seems that finally the truth has come out and names are named...It is funny that after all this years we finally come full circle to the first hypothesis, that of the Great Conspiracy hatched by the US government itself.. That hypothesis was rejected as being too outlandish, to be replaced by more acceptable thesis: CIA, Mafia, FBI, oil barons, or whatever.
Now Mr DOUGLAS apparently delivers the good, whith a short (and often repetitive, in my view) book based on secret documents entrusted to him by a former high ranking CIA official. If those papers are true (and there lies my only reservation: how can we be sure?)we indeed have the answers to all the questions, notably the classic "such a conspiracy would require the participation of too many people inside and outside the governement". Well, if the Government itself did it...Personnally, I am inclined to think the docs are genuine, since they verify informations available from other sources, for instance the HARVEY Papers (which can be found in "Bloody Treason")describing the logistics of what could well be the bueprint to the JFK hit. I hope researchers in the US check this rapidly and let us know of the validity of the documents

Summary: A Stunner!
Review: With 40 years of background in the intelligence community, I approached this book with some concern and strong doubts. Now, after having read it through, twice, and talking with a number of my friends, I have to say that this book, REGICIDE by Gregory Douglas, is brilliant, decisive and answers any and all questions I ever had on the tragic events of November 22, 1963. Douglas has taken official documents concerning this terrible business and set them out in a very clear and decisive way that can leave no doubt that this is as close to the truth as we will ever get. It deserves to be read by assassination buffs and casuall readers as well who have been bombarded with hundreds of vague and speculative treatments. It is also a very clear, powerfully presented thesis that has left me stunned. Unlike the famous fake Hitler and Goebbels "diaries" we have seen in the past, this book is as accurate and believable as anything, any official report, that I have ever read. I cannot praise the efforts of Mr. Douglas to get at the truth enough. I think that anyone reading this will want his friends to read it as well. First class exposition all the way around!!

Summary: Come over from the dark side my fellow American
Review: You either love the truth and mankind. Or, you're one of the selfish rat bastards that hate the truth and your fellow man because you believe there is profit in it . There is no compromise. You're good or you're evil. Destiny will determine which philosophy is the correct one: 1) What profiteth a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his soul? OR, 2) Who's the fool, the beggar or king, as all is the same in death? Destiny will provide the answer. As for the book. I've studied the details of this event for over 30 years. I'm convinced that the solution to the mystery of the JFK assassination is within its pages. Actually it has been solved for many years. The US gov't killed JFK, as most the world with the exception of the American public have known for a long time. I feel that your average citizen here is working against an evil that has stacked the deck tremendously against him though with the corporate media, schools, universities, judiciary and Congress having been bought and paid for long ago. And so my compassion extends toward my fellow american even moreso. Of course, to mention all this (even with volumes of irrefutable evidence) is to be labeled a "conspiracy kook" in our country and immediately discredited and harrassed. That's the price of telling the truth in our land. So be it then. I ask the American public: Why do you make it righteous to trumpet from the mountaintops for all to see the lies and trechery of Hitler, Stalin, Nero, Napoleon, Herod, etc., and yet tremble with rage and indignity when it is suggested that evil men are in power right here in the United States and have been since the 1776 revolution? Where is your loyalty? To the Creator and the human race, or to your local neighborhood crooked politician and the rackets that you hope to benefit from? A question with "eternal" implications so make a damned sober decision. By the way, the forces dismantling our freedom with the Patriot Act and Homeland Security are on the verge of suspending the Constitution and declaring martial law. All they need is one more "terrorist" event to justify it to the non - thinking American public and they will finalize the coup that JFK was trying to stop.
