Summary: A thin book from dark souls
Review: Turning reality upside down to support the Palestinian campaign of genocide directed mainly against Israel's children and their mothers is the essential modus operandi shared by all anti-Semites from one generation to the next. Each new crop of haters thinks their reasons for exterminating Jews is unique in history. Each generation of Jew-killers has a cheering section of those who congratulate themselves that they don't actually do the killing - they merely invent reasons for others to keep it going. In this case, the authors prove there is no hate greater than self-hate. To read this book is to peer deep into the darkest heart of evil, and to see its essence as untruth spoken and written to cause harm.

Summary: Doubly offensive coming from leftist, self-hating Jews
Review: This book is a classic example of a work by self-hating Jews. For some reason they have a need to apologize for just being alive.The authors of this book attribute the work of Lebanese Christians to Arial Sharon, blaming him for what happened in Lebanon. This is entirely incorrect, though popular with the ignorant. The truth is that the Lebanese Christians were taking revenge for what the Palestinians had done to them. In coming up with excuses for Palestinian terrorism, they seem to have totally forgotten why the Palestinian's actions are so abhorrent to the world. They have forgotten the Palestianian massacre of the entire Christian population of the town of Damour, Lebanon, their failed coup of King Hussein of Jordan and the tens of thousands that died because of that, or their participation on the side of the Moslems in the Lebanese civil war thereby tipping the agreed upon balance of power in that country. They have forgotten that the PLO has never lived up to even one of their stipulations in the Oslo agreement, and have never rescinded their statement that they will annihilate a sovereign state, i.e. Israel. One cannot just take a small time frame, one must look at the entire episode. Yes, there have been Palestinian deaths, and a large part of it is self-inflicted. There is no moral equivalent between a suicide bomber intent on murdering children on a bus and "militants" coming into Israel proper to murder a mother reading bedtime stories to her children, who are also shot, to the selective assassination of those adult men who plan these atrocities. It is also very interesting that the Jenin "massacre" never really happened. There is a TV video clip of a "dead" Palestianian "victim" getting up out of his coffin and walking off, which was very enlightening. Also interesting is the cheering and dancing in the Gaza streets on 9/11. These people are not victims. If you know anything about the truth and history of the war between the Arabs and Jews, this book will make you angry. Perhaps it will also move you to action.

Summary: Pure anti-semitism
Review: This book is the latest in the tip of the iceberg of the age old Anti-semitism. It used to be in Europe people blamed Jews for sucking the blood of children, and that was the excuse to go on a good old fashioned Pogrom. Today the media invents a new Blood Libel, in the form of saying the Jews go out nightly and suck the blood of nice peace loving palistinians.
Lets get the argument strait here. Almost everyday a palistinian enters a civilian place and murders Israeli civilians. In the last ten years some thousands of Israelis have been killed by terror, these are Israeli civilians, not military people. The palistinains claim they are fighting for freedom, fighting a war against a brutish oppressor. Apparently the war must be fought against civilians, civilians who go to work everyday and never even see palistinians.
Lets get the argument strait. The authors claim the palistinians are suffering a 'holocaust'. Holocaust as a word was first applied to the systematic extermination of 1/3 of the worlds Jews. Now lets see, have 1/3 of the palistinians been rounded up, gassed and cremated? hmmm, no. In the worst years of the Israeli palistinian conflict about 800 palistinians are killed and 500 Israelis. So isn't the 'holocaust' mutual. Even if every palistinian killed was a civilian(when in truth most are holding weapons as they are shot down) it still wouldn't be a
'holocaust' since palistinians target Israeli civilians.
This book is anti-semetic trash aimed at enraging readers and having them hate Israel, and don't kid yourselves by hating Israel, you are an anti-semite. Its the same thing. This book accuses the IDF of intentionally killing and suppressing the palistinians.

Summary: Shocking that people take this seriously
Review: Any thoughtful person looking at the other works of these so-called scholars, would laugh at the idea that this work should be taken seriously. Hoffman's other works include an expose on how Jews really worship Satan and an examination of how the people who really suffered during Slavery in North America were white slaves!?!?!? Please, check on Amazon. Who could make this stuff up? This work, which comes in at a thin 110 pages, makes up for its faint size with a host of mistatements and simply wrong facts. Dates, places, and death counts are often wrong, even when compared with both the work of Israeli and Palestinian scholars. How hard could it be to fact check a 110 page book? Several rediculous claims peper this book. The authors claim Israel systamatically destroys Christian holy places -- a throw back to Hoffman's other work claiming that Jews are religously comanded to destroy christianity. The trouble is that, from 1948 to the present, they can't document any instances of this in Israel. Anyone interested in their claims will find it impossible to find supporting sources. As in his other works, when Hoffman needs a fact that fits his point of view, he does not believe in wasting his time with research when he can simply make one up. Both authors seek to drive towards a patently absurd premise, that it is the goal of the Israeli government to murder every Palestinian living in the West Bank and Gaza. A simple look at the facts will demonstrate how patently false that claim is. Granted 3000 palestinians have died in the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, given that Israel possesses the most powerful military in the region, you would think they would be more efficient in reaching their goal. People really interested in the Middle East can look at a host of interesting works that take positions supporting either side of the conflict. Trash like this should be left to those who are just looking to justify their own irrational hatred and fear of Jews.

Summary: BRAVE TESTIMONY ON PLIGHT OF PALESTINIANS UNDER OCCUPATION
Review: I could not agree more with the eloquent comments printed on this page by B.J. Russell, London under the title "Facts & Distortions" supporting with additional testimony and documentation the findings and conclusions of Michael Hoffman II and Moshe Lieberman. The authors of this splendid book should be commended for their honourable contribution to the true history of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, i.e. between a ruthless racist Occupier and its victims under an oppressive and genocidal occupation made possible by the constant tacit support and protection of successive US Administrations since 1948. Under Bush, Washington's support for Israel's criminal policies in contempt of the rule of law and the Geneva conventions has become more blatant than ever!

Summary: Read the book, watch the news then draw your own conclusions
Review: This book as mentioned in some of the reviews on this site does not cover both sides of the story. However, I believe it was not the authors' intentions to do so. The book takes the readers through many events that were reported by mainstream media here in the US and elsewhere. It is clear that the authors intended to unveil the side of the story that they believe was not fairly reported. However, the evidence provided by the authors supporting some events they cover in this book are based on eye witnesses that might not be considered legitimate sources by some readers. This might challenge a reader with a predetermined mindset that those events could not have ever taken place the way they were told due to the brutal nature of crimes described in the book. Crimes that were committed by an army considered by many and by the media here in the US to be fair and always trying to minimize civilian casualties on the Palestinian side. Approximately 3000 + Palestinians and 900 + Israeli's have been killed since the start of the latest Palestinian uprising. In many media outlets, the events covered about Palestinian casualties during the past 3 years seem to have covered, in depth, far less casualties on the Palestinian side. The numbers however are usually reported correctly to some extend (approximately 3000 Palestinians). To anyone who is following the daily news on CNN, MSNBC, FOX or NPR, there seems to be a lack of coverage of where, how and when the 3000 + Palestinians have been killed. This book gives the reader an alternative filling the gap that was left out by the media in the US. Whether the events that take place in this book are true or simply false allegations should be left to the reader to decide based on evidence and analysis provided by the authors. If you are looking for a book that shows both sides of the story, don't buy this book. If you are looking for answers to questions often omitted from our mainstream news outlets, read the book and pass it on. Just like the title of this review says, read it, listen to mainstream media then try to draw your own conclusions.

Summary: Utterly Deplorable!
Review: What is the point for studying history when authors like Michael Hoffman and Moshe Lieberman can rewrite it whenever it suits their needs? Why bother with facts or proper placement of historical events? Who needs research when fantasy can do it faster with more flair?
Even with the most rudimentary knowledge of history one should realize that something is amiss rather quickly. There is a great chapter on the Israeli Holocaust (towards the Palestinians) with the timeline running from 1948 till the 1980s. In short excerpts, year by year, it details the history of Israel and its great crimes against the humanity. Yet, it somehow manages to forget the FOUR wars wages against it by the Arabs. It describes the "6 Day War" as the Israeli aggression against the Arab people. Is this serious? Can anything in this book be taken as truth after such blatant disregard for historical accuracy?
Why bother with any of this anyway? Let's just be clear. Holocaust never happened. Jews are devil worshipers and they eat little Palestinian babies. They love it and that is why we should hate them.
I know that we live in America and we have Freedom of Speech, but this is truly disgusting. I am very saddened that Amazon is selling such obvious hate material. There is plenty of constructive criticism of Israeli policies, but this is not one of them.

These people have some kind of self-hate problem as almost all the atrocities they blame on Israelies either never happened or were commited by arabs themselves. Review: It is surely incumbent on those who seek to decry this book - any book - on the basis of its supposed lack of factual and historical accuracy and absence of supporting evidence to get their facts and their history correct and provide supporting evidence when they depart from the widely accepted historical record. So let's look at some real facts. Did the settlers in the Occupied Territories express their unequivocal condemnation of the murder, by one of their number, of 29 Palestinians at prayer? Hardly. One of their most prominent leaders, Rabbi Ginsburg, circulated a pamphlet in which he said the death of any Arab was "a fortunate event" but that these killings were especially heroic. Jerusalem was festooned with posters celebrating the grizzly deed. Opinion polls showed that 50% of Israelis approved of the mass murder. The Israeli army accompanied the murderer's coffin and the enormous crowd of supporters to his tomb, which is now a place of pilgrimage for many Jews and settlers. [source: 'The Gun and the Olive Branch' David Hirst 2003] Was Ariel Sharon cleared of responsibility for the massacres in Sabra and Shatila? Hardly. The official commission of enquiry, the Kahan Commission, held Sharon to be 'personally responsible' for the killings. Israeli forces fired flares to illuminate the camps, allowing the killers to do their filthy work and turned away those who tried to flee, sending them back to be killed. [Source: 'The Kahan Report' 1983; 'Pity the Nation', Robert Fisk 2001] But surely the most disgraceful distortion of all is the suggestion that those who were massacred at Deir Yassin somehow invited their own fate. No serious Middle Eastern scholar has ever suggested that those killed at Deir Yassin deserved their fate. So who should we believe about what happened at Deir Yassin? The victims? What about 12 year old Fahimi Zidan who said "The Jews ordered all our family to line up against the wall and they started shooting us. I was hit in the side ... the bullets hit my sister Kadri [aged four] in the head, my sister Sameh [eight] in the cheek, my brother Mohammad [seven] in the chest. But all the others against the wall were killed: my father, mother, grandfather and grandmother, my uncles, aunts and some of their children." What about the British policeman who investigated the 254 deaths? "Many sexual atrocities were committed by the attacking Jews. Many young schoolgirls were raped and subsequently slaughtered ... a young girl was literally torn in two. Many infants were also butchered and killed." [Source: 'Report of the Criminal Investigation Division', Palestine Government 1948.] Or the Head of the Red Cross in Palestine, Jacques De Reynier, who went to the scene immediately afterwards and reported: "I found some bodies cold. Here the 'cleaning up' had been done with machine guns, then hand grenades. It had been finished off with knives, anyone could see that. The same thing in the next room but as I was about to leave, I heard something like a sigh. I looked everywhere, turned over all the bodies, and eventually found a little foot, still warm. It was a little
girl of ten, mutilated by a hand grenade, but still alive; everywhere it was the same horrible sight ... there had been 400 people in this village; about fifty had escaped. All the rest had been deliberately massacred in cold blood for, as I observed for myself, this gang was admirably disciplined and acted only under orders." It is here suggested that if there was any massacre at all it was condemned by the Jewish leadership. But as well as the terrorist Irgun gang - led, let's not forget, by Menachin Begin, who was elected Prime Minister by the Israelis - the killers were joined by the official Haganah and acted in collaboration with the official Jewish leadership. Indeed a unit of the Palmach - the elite forces of the Haganah - took part in the massacre and one of their own soldiers, Meir Pa'el, gave this written account: "The Irgun and Stern ... began cleaning up operations in the houses. They fired with all the arms they had and threw explosives into the houses. They also shot everything they saw in the houses, including women and children ... twenty five men were brought out from the houses: they were loaded into a freight truck and led on a victory parade ... through [Jerusalem]. At the end of the parade they were take to a stone quarry.... and shot in cold blood" [source: 'History of the Middle East' Ted Thornton; 'Days of Fire' Samuel Katz; 'Who Knows Better Must Say So' Elmer Berger] The Shai or Jewish Information Service reported that those taking part in the 'operation' were ordered to kill all prisoners. They were "taken to town in trucks, paraded in the city streets [of Jerusalem], then taken back to the site and killed with rifle and machine-gun fire." The Shai commander confirmed that money and jewellery was stolen from the prisoners and that inhabitants of West Jerusalem "took part in the torture" of prisoners. [Source 'Righteous Victims', Benny Morris 1999]. It is a chilling fact that the Head of the Red Cross, was ordered to sign a false witness statement by the Jewish leaders and was told that "if I valued my own life, I had better sign immediately. The only course open to me was to convince them that I did not value my life in the least ..." [Source: 'A Jerusalem un Drapeau Flottait sur la Ligne de Feu' Jacques De Reynier, 1950]. Is it to be that the false witness which the killers could not extract even by threatening to kill again, is now proffered by those who seek to excuse the acts of the killers? If this book is condemned by those who resort to such distortion, it must be fully deserving of five stars.
