Summary: My Opinion

Summary: Magical
Review: A true fantasy classic, this book never loses its appeal. Vivid characters, the frightening world of "Camazotz" and the hideous "IT" that lives within, and a daring plot to save a missing scientist and father all combine in an edge-of-your-seat story for young and old. L'Engle is a master story-teller, and her spell is woven from the first page. A "must read!"

Summary: Wrinkle in Time is # 1 for young adventoures readers
Review: This book is the best! I mean I started to read it at first and I didnt like it. But I just made myself read farther. And it is just so interesting. The Mrs. W's are pretty weird and scary in the beginning but you grow to love them. If you are a young reader and you like to learn about magic and you like science and math and things i suggest you read this book. I am moving on to the sequals right now and I will reveiw them when I am done. But when you read this one you have to read : A wind in the door , A swiftly tilting planet , and many waters. Madeleine L'engle is one of the best writers to me right now. And I love her use of imagination!!!

Summary: We are such stuff as dreams are made on
Review: I cried when I first read this book at least ten years ago, and to this day it still sends chills up my spine. "A Wrinkle In Time" is a celebration of beauty, excellence, and the human being. Any more than that I am reluctant to say, as this is a book one should experience for oneself.

Summary: A WAY TO GET THE WRINKLES OUT IN YOUR DAY
Review: A WRINKLE IN TIME IS ONE OF THE BEST SCI-FI BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ. THE CHARACTERS BECOME REAL AS YOU READ AND YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE EMOTIONS THAT THEY DO. THIS BOOK WAS NEVER DULL. A GREAT PICK FOR A LONG WEEKEND WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO! THIS BOOK IS FULL OF SUSPENSE SO IF YOU ARE A FAN OF MYSTERY, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU...

Summary: More than just a children's book
Review: More than 30 years ago, I came across A Wrinkle in Time on the shelf of my elementary school library. Reading it was a watershed event in my life, perhaps in part because I could identify so much with both the Meg and Calvin characters--with Meg because she didn't feel like she fit in, and with Calvin because his home life was so problematic. Also fascinating to me were the deep philosophical issues raised by the book, which are so ably presented at a level a child can comprehend. I remember clearly the feeling of hope that I had about my own situation in life after I finished reading the book. Ms. L'Engle truly authored a classic that will stand the test of time, and I am very much in her debt. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Summary: One of the best books ever written
Review: I got this book from my brother when I was a little kid and I still enjoy reading it now at age 24. It is one of the best children's books ever written.
