Rating: Summary: Space Travel at it's Best Review: "A Wrinkle in Time" tells the story of Meg and Charles Wallace who go into outer space to find their missing father. Along with their friend,Calvin, they meet three mysterious women with powers who help them in their search. With their new alien friends, the children enter a tesseract, a wrinkle in time, and discover a world terrorized by the evil It. The children discover that by depending on each other and solving problems, one at a time, every goal can be reached. This book has lots of action and it's characters are children whose reactions are very realistic, given their situations. If you like science fiction and love to read about the possibilities of time travel, you will love it.
Rating: Summary: A book that stands the test of time Review: My grandmother gave me (along with my lifelong love of books)a copy of "A Wrinkle in Time" for my 10th birthday. I've probably read it 5 times since then. The adventures of Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin share a special place in my memories of childhood. It is always the 1st book I recommend to friends for their children and I have given copies to my nieces. I can't wait until my newest nephew is old enough to read it. He will certainly be getting a copy.
Rating: Summary: Everyone should experience these books... Review: When in fifth grade, my teacher read to the class 'A Wrinkle In Time'. I was captivated by the story as it unfolded, and quickly found myself scouring the public library for the book to re-read it. Much to my delight I found it to be the first in a series of four books. While the first, 'A Wrinkle In Time', remains my favorite of the four, I loved every single book. Now, as a senior in college, a still adore these books. They are timeless. They teach as well as entertain. They play with the readers imagination, even as they work on the more scientific cut-and-dried areas of the mind. I feel like everyone should experience this story atleast once... you're sure to enver forget it.
Rating: Summary: A Wrinkle In Time Review: When you read this book, you are automatically taken far away to a place where the people are ruled by a strange and mysterious force, called It. This book should become a part of everyone's life because it shows that good, evil, and understanding are not limited to this earth.

Rating: Summary: A Wrinkle in Time Review: A Wrinkle in Time is a journey through time in space which catches your interest in moments. Whether it's the excitement of traveling through time or the thought of death, the interest of the novel stays in your mind. Most of this interest comes about because of the fantasy behind the plot Meg and her brother Charles have to find their father in some far off universe. This universe is so wacky it's a fantasy land within all fantasy lands. Besides the story being a thrilling fantasy, it's also a touching novel. This novel is a full package of emotions which is why this is one of the best books I have ever read. If you are the type of person who likes to be in fantasy dream lands this is definitely the book for you because that is what this book does best, pulls you in and makes you feel you're experiencing all the events that are happening. Also Recommended: The Lord of the Rings, WOT Series and I HIGHYLY recomend The Price Of Immortality

Rating: Summary: Wait a minute... Review: Yes, I most definitely agree that this book grabs you from the start, and yes, I did learn from it. But wait a minute-Be careful if you're out for a Christian fantasy, as this book is often classified. I read it before I became a Christian and was enthralled. I read it again after, and threw it away when I got to the part about Buddha being the Light of the World....
Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: First of all, I would like to say that this is a really good book, and I don't understand why some people don't like it. This is a really wonderful sci-fi book. Normally I don't like sci-fi books, but this one has fantasy and science, so it doesn't really read like a sci-fi book. Anyone who doesn't want to think while they are reading should not get this book. The plot is complex, but not impossible to understand. Like The Giver, this book makes you think about our soceity today and what we want to avoid in the future. Second of all, this book is NOT boring and has plenty of drama, but its not the car-slamming-into-the-wall kind of drama. (Which I hate.) It is a more subtle and thoughtful kind, where the author has really thought about it, rather than saying, "Oh, I think I'll have a car crash here, and there and.......". This is a great book, and I would recommend it to anyone who is able to read the is kind of book, and appreciate. I would also recommend the other books in this quartet. They are also written with the same thoughtful style of writing.
