Summary: timeless
Review: i am 24 and i still make sure to read this book at least once a year, and i have since i was 8. It is a wonderful book about the difficulties and pleasures of being gifted. It's ideas about good and evil have affected most of my life...

Remember, the shortest distance between two points isn't necessarily a straight line.

Summary: Book for Science Lovers...
Review: Meg,Charles, and Calvin serched for Meg's Father. He was a famous scientist that disappered after experimenting on his secret porject for the government. He engages in top secret work for the government called the tesseract problem. Meg, Charles and Calvin looked everywhere for him and never gave up until the found him. I wouldn't suggest this book to a customer because it took forever for Meg,Charles, and Calvin to find Meg's Father. After a while, it became boring and it became rather easy to get impatient with the characters. Even though they were having fun looking for him, I really did get impatient with their cause. Meg was also so bossy and sickly determined. She knew what she wanted and she wouldn't rest till she found her father.

Summary: A Wrinkle in Time
Review: I think this was one of the best bokks I have ever read. I thought the fantasies in A Wrinkle in Time were awsome. My favorite part was when the three kids, Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace, were in the world with the giant horse/man things. In this book, Meg is the main character who is an average high school girl. Her little brother, Charles Wallace, is a child genius who will soon discover Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which, three peculiar old ladies that will be the guid in this story. When Meg follows Charles to the house where the three ladies were discovered, she and Charles find a boy named Calvin who will eventually fall in love with Meg. My favorite part about this book was the way everything becdame real and incredibly believable, for example, when the three ladies decribed a tesseract the theory seemed so real and believable that it seemed possible. I would recomend this book to any one.

Review: I think A Wrinkle in Time is an excellent book.I chose to read it because of the Newberry Award it received.I like the way it's wrote, but I don't care for the sequels.I thought they were boring and confusing.I think A Wrinkle in Time is one of the best books Madeleine L'Engle has ever wrote.

Summary: A Wrinkle In Time
Review: This is a book that will truly stun you. I read it almost a thousand times and its still very exciting to flip through the pages again. The avid descriptions can take you to their world and back. You can actually picture the scene in front of you, instead of a bystander view, this book actually enables you to feel that you are next to the character! I strongly encourage non-A Wrinkle in Time readers to buy this book

Summary: this book is great
Review: I thought this book was a really great book. The reason why I thought it was a really good book is that it always kept me interested and made me want to read more. The only times I put the book down were when I had to go to sleep or do homework.

Every time something happened in the book you would always wonder why. There would always be a cliffhanger. And then later on the author would reveal what it was. And most of the time the cliffhanger would have an important role in the character's emotions, actions or feelings. One example is that early on in the book a strange person comes to the main character's house in the middle of a thunderstorm. The person is very strange and very weird. You kind of get the idea that something is going to happen but you are not sure. She stays, has hot cocoa and is getting ready to leave and then suddenly turns around and says,you know a tesseract is real" to the mother. At this comment the mother is very disturbed and distressed. Then after suspense filled chapter or two wondering what the heck it is you finally figure it out.

Another reason that the book is so good is that all the crazy ideas and theories in it are things that you never would have thought of but then when you read it off the paper you totally agree with what the author is saying. For instance a tesseract is basically the same thing as a wrinkle in time. According to modern science the closest way to get between two points is a straight line, but it really isn't. You would take the line and bend it, wrinkle it, you would get there a lot faster. To support that if you are holding one side of a string in each hand and an ant were to crawl across it, in science if he crawled straight across he would get there faster. But if you moved your hands together it would be even faster, you would put "a wrinkle in time".

A truly ingenious book.

Summary: A Must Read Book

Summary: A Wrinkle in Time
Review: Join Meg, her brother Charles, and her new friend Calvin on a wacky, " wubulous", adventure to the exotic planets of Uriel, Camazotz, and Ixchel. Meet the powerful IT and the sincere beasts. Each of them adds an interesting part to the evolving story. Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which teach moving lessons of friendship, peace, and love. Along with these lessons are the unbelievable scientific methods. As one anxiously reads " A Wrinkle in Time", emotions of sadness and joy will arise. " A Wrinkle in Time" is an extraordinary book for one who enjoys adventure in the unknown universe and a creative plot with love and mystery. The first of Madeleine L'Engle's time books is thoroughly enjoyable.

Summary: You HAVE to read this!
Review: A Wrinkle in Time is a book that I will never forget. One reason, because I have never read anything like it before, and it shows how powerful love can be. It is truly an exellent book to read, and I highly reccormend it.
