Rating: Summary: slow start, great book Review: I give this adventure 4stars because at the beginning it was sortof boring.About maybe 20 pages in it got exciting. If you are a patient reader, I recomend this book.
Rating: Summary: Search Through Space! Review: Fantastic! Maadeleine L'Engle, the author of a Wrinkle In Time is a great writer. The characters are Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, Mr. Murry, Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin, It, and Aunt Beast. The characters were interesting because each of them are so different than the other. Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallce go on a journey through space to the planet Camotz where Meg's father is trapped. I would recomment this book for a 3rd grader and up.
Rating: Summary: Cool Book! Review: The book A Wrinkle in Time is a really cool science fiction book! The characters were pretty cool. My favorites were Mrs. Whatsit and Aunt Beast. The only thing about it I didn't like was the beginning because it was just drop dead boring! I think you should not just stop after the first few pages though. I would recommend it to a third grader, like myself, who likes to just sit and read.
Rating: Summary: A Different Universe Review: Absolutely amazing! A Wrinkle In Time is an adventure by Madeline L'Engle about Meg Murry, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe, Mrs.Whatsit, Mrs.Who, and Mrs.Which who go on an adventure to find Meg's father. I recommend this book, because if you like adventures, you would love A Wrinkle In Time. It is a very good book. I am in 3rd grade and almost everybody is reading it. The plot starts on earth, goes to a different Universe and back to earth.
Rating: Summary: Out Of This World! Review: A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeline L'Engle, is about Meg, Charles, Calvin, and three witches that can travel in time. I am 9 years old, and I love it. YOU will love it, too. After reading A Wind in the Door, that was also by her, I decided to read this. You will like this if you like time travel.
Rating: Summary: Is It Over? Review: A Wrinkle in Time,by Madeline L' Engle, is a story about a girl named Meg who thinks she is not smart. One day Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who , and Mrs. Which appear and take Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O' Keefe to another dimension to find their long lost father and prove Meg is smart. My opinion on the book is that I like the characters. For example, I like Meg because she is very spunky and sort of funny, but she hates math. That's the only thing I don't like about her. Read this if you like science fiction.
Rating: Summary: Read Me! Review: I saw a lot of kids reading A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle, so I started reading it. A Wrinkle in Time is a story about a little boy named Charles Wallace, his sister named Meg Murry, and a boy named Calvin O' Keefe who are all time traveling. Calvin is a boy who runs into Meg and Charles when they are on a walk. Meg is a very bright girl who, in school, doesn't like to do math the slow ways because her dad taught her the short ways. She pouts when she is mad, so she gets in trouble. Charles is a special boy, but I'm not going to tell why. You should read A Wrinkle in Time!
Rating: Summary: A true classic! Review: I have always loved this book since the first time it was presented to me on my birthday. I read it, and was amazed at how I could sometimes relate with the characters and knew just what they were thinking. I have read this book so many times, I am losing count at this point. I couldn't possibly describe to you how much this book has meant to me through my life, or how it could effect yours.
Rating: Summary: UTTERLY FANTASTIC, PHENOMENAL,EVERYTHING GOOD! Review: This book is great.I mean more then great.More then ifinity great if there was such a thing.I'd give it the biggest number of stars if I could. In it,Meg, who is a teenager, and her little brother Charles Walluce, who is so smart, everybody can't understand him and think he's dumb. But one rainy day, when Charles dissapears Meg knows she has to find him.So she goes out into the rain, and sets out.In her front yard she meets a snake who is very smart and involved in magic. It is her twin brothers Sandy's and Denny's.Then along the way she meets Calvin, smart and very different from his brothers. He has orange hair and is very nice. He becomes Meg's best friend for a lifetime. Then, in the rainy night she finds Charles and he shows her their black houndog who was smelling something, and turns out to be a very powerful dragon like animal who came from space and knows magic. From there, their quest begins. If you want to know what happens in their quest which is very exciting, buy this book. And just as it says in the title for the review up above, this book is more then everthing good.I recommand it for everybody.Good luck and happy WRINKLE IN TIME!
