Summary: Ray Chandler selling his nephew!
Review: Mr. Chandler is not giving people the whole information. Michael Jackson was sued by bodyguards who claimed they have destroyed some photographs that contained a naked boy. And they were sent by Jackson to do so. Well, Mr. Chandler is not telling you what the employees said under oath, which is that they made up the story and sold it to the media. And this is the same lawsuit that Jackson took the 5th, his right, and a smart move, concidering he was still under investigation by the DA. Any lawyer would've advised Jackson to take the 5th. And Ray Chandler needs to stop selling books and work with the authorities. I do not understand how detailing such horrible thing that he alleged happened to his nephew is good for his nephew. Even publishing his name. I mean, can these folks find justice through the authorities not through lawsuits or the media? And Mrs. Hughes books is not perfect, but it gives you interesting side of the story we have not heard. Like the fact the Chandlers hired civil lawyers, ended up getting what they wanted. When you hired a civil lawyer, you're looking for only one thing, MONEY. Michael Jackson had a million reasons to settled, the Chandlers morally have NONE.

Summary: FACTS ABOUT EVAN CHANDLER
Review: On May 7, 1996, Evan Chandler became the plaintiff in a new and different civil suit. The defendant was, for a second time, Michael Jackson. Chandler claimed that songs included on Mr. Jackson's 1995 release, HIStory, referenced Chandler, himself, which, in his opinion, was a breach of the confidentiality agreement signed by all of parties in the 1993/94 litigation.

In addition to Chandler's demand for all future profits from HIStory (a sum he estimated as more than $60 million), Chandler demanded that he be additionally compensated by Mr. Jackson's participation in distributing a rebuttal album consisting of Chandler's own music. The proposed title of this album was EVANstory. Proposed song titles included: D.A. Reprised, Truth, You Have No Defense (For My Love), and Duck Butter Blues. Chandler explained his unusual demand by stating there was a "need to repair the reputation of the Plaintiff . . "

Neither Chandler's son, Jordan, nor Jordan's mother, June Chandler Schwartz, were to be included in any award or settlement that may have resulted from this second civil suit. A judge DISMISSED the case.

In short, EVAN CHANDLER is a greedy extortionist who orchestrated the entire 1993 "case" and came back in 1996 looking for another "payday". And now he has his loser brother Ray Chandler (whose real last name is Charmatz but changed it Chandler too to match his brother's last name just so he can be associated with the Jackson "case") out there trying to make money on a PATHETIC novel that NO ONE IS BUYING. I hope you go bankrupt Ray.

And finally, regarding 'Redemption', let me add that Geraldine Hughes' book sets the record straight and I wouldn't be surprised to see her story get more attention once this entire mess is over.
