Summary: at its core and in its heart
Review: WOW! Richard Krevolin has written a screenwriting book that actually practices what it preaches. For, like a good movie, once you sit down with popcorn and drink, you won't get up until the final credits roll (no matter how full your bladder gets).

A fictional story itself, it'll draw you further and further in with rich characters and an intriguing plotline.

And when you're done, you'll have a practical and *memorable* set of screenwriting skills and knowledge (plus you may even cry).

This book, has at its core and in its heart, *love*.

Enjoy it. Then sit down and write and write and write and write - until you can't see straight anymore!!!! (then take a nap, and get up and write again.)

Summary: How to Write a Screenplay and Learn about Yourself
Review: Wow! This book really blew me away. Most screenwriting books are tired how-to manuals. Screenwriting from the Soul is written from a fresh and exciting perspective--a curmudgeonly screenwriter who shares his wealth of knowledge with an eager young writer by a series of letters. Screenwriting from the Soul not only covers the technical aspects of this challenging craft, but it also discusses how to emotionally prepare yourself for the inevitable highs and lows associated with this profession. I firmly believe that every screenwriter, every writer, should read this terrific book. Judging by the incredible critical response we've already received, it seems others agree with me.
