Summary: Nobody is perfect,Ron hubbard worst human side is exposed .
Review: The best of Ron is ignored,at least, you will know that he is not a god,if you are sientologue,he never pretended to be one, but,if you try sientology, you will certainly have a tendency to do so.I am not objective,as I was myself an intimate friend of him.I can say that there are two things about the phenomenom of sientology: The very existance of it is an absolute*anomaly*in this reality scientologues cannot conceive any more how their lives could have been wihout it

It is a disjontion,a short-circuit, This book is part of a reject phenomenom,to this allien attact! By the way,I know where Ron(or his reincarnation)is putting his attention right now!!!

Summary: Disorganized, but loaded with essential information!!
Review: The information in this book gets an easy "10", the way it is organized gets a "7". Great info, lots of personal anecdotes from former Scientologists, and some interesting photos make this a valuable resource for anyone curious about Scientology. Many first-hand accounts of some of the most intersting parts of the cult's history are included. Very highly recommended, and the odd organization of the book doesn't really distract from the overall thread of the story too badly. Corydon is also a former Scientologist, so his accounts are very interesting, and allow him to reveal the true motives and inner-workings of this "church".

Summary: A must read for anyone even remotly considering Scientology
Review: The is a fascinating look into the inner sanctum of Scientology and how truly evil it is. Being an atheist, I don't mean "the devil" evil, I mean human evil. The clear clearly stated(over and over, I might add) goal of Scientology is domination over the world and its populace. The degredation, humiliation and complete loss of any human rights and dignity put up with by the members (not the public ones like Travolta) of Scientology is mindboggling. This book is a MUST READ for anyone even thinking about Scientology...at all!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: disordered but excellent content
Review: The order of the book is not coherent. The content is thoroughly excellent. Corydon knows his stuff. This is a must-have.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Mediocre but informative
Review: The writing style is amateurish. The narrative is difficult to follow. The storyline isn't very coherent. It's too bad, because there's a lot of good info about Scientology in it. I bought this book after working at a company run by (and with) Scientology. I was looking for some background on this looney cult. I think there are much better books on the subject.

Summary: good, not very good
Review: There are two problems with this book, even if you accept *all* of it to be true (and certainly most of it is). First, nothing cited within the book is annotated, so almost every claim made is unreliable. Second, there is no index, which is admittedly only an annoyance. Combine that with an unpolished style and haphazard organization and this book doesn't seem very formidable. Still, it has a few things you won't find elsewhere, and the author relates some of his own experiences as a Mission holder in $cientology, so is worth reading for those passages.

Summary: Very good read about a scary cult!
Review: This book by a long time insider is wonderful and scary at the same time. I had to keep reminding myself it wasn't fiction. This is one scary cult and now whenever I even drive by their local operation, I reach for my wallet to be sure they haven't somehow gotten their grasp of it. The really scary part is how followers can fall for their science fiction [garbage] about evil space monsters that blow up bodies in volcanos. There has to be something insidious about their brainwashing methods to get people to fall for this nonsense.

Summary: I don't understand-
Review: This book does not contain a hand full of truth. I do not understand why individuals go about attempting to destroy scientology. I have objectively reviewed this religon. In doing so, the religion it self only contains individuals who are truly attempting to help humanity. Therefore, I would have to say; that this book is obviously funded by those who would attempt to undermine such efforts.

Summary: Invalid Information
Review: This book is completely biased. I have read many of Mr Hubbards works and found them of great value and help to my and my families lives. This book is a poorly written attack on a steller human being.

Summary: L.Ron Hubbard, Almost my Hero
Review: This book is excellant, a must read for anyone interested in religion, cults, or life in general. The story of Scientology is fascinating, real life science fiction. I highly recommend this book. The legal aspect of the cult is not as interesting but the matters concerning Mr. Hubbard and his Church are nothing short of eye popping. I promise you that when you pick this book up you will not put it down. It is unbeleivable how the leader of this religion got such devotion from people and especially got them to believe the upper level tenets. Trust me, its more than interesting !!!! In fact, because it draws heavily from personal experiences and court documents that which it reveals is fact not fancy. It was this book that stopped me from entering into the world of Scientology. Scientology almost was the answer to mans problems, but as you'll find in the book the guru behind it all goofed up towards the end, what a shame !
