Summary: Fiction with exposition on Clicking
Review: This book is a remarkable work of fiction. The odd thing is that it doesn't matter. The book is an elaborate allegory that depicts the timeline of certain charismatic/pentecostal developments in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain during the latter portion of the 20th Century. It goes into some detail about Benny Hinn's influence of the modern music group U2. It attempts to debunk Dake-Bonoism and instead bolsters the cause. I give my reserved endorsement.

The biggest advantage of this book is it's discussion of the contemporary variation on speaking in tongues called clicking. This involves cupping the mouth with your hands while praying in tongues quietly under your breath. The reason it is called clicking is that a slight clicking sound is made with the tongue and soft palate.

This book explains it better than I.

Summary: only as a last resort
Review: Nearly a year ago my friend recommended this book to me. After listening to a brief overview of it and seeing the changes in him after reading the book I decided against it. Recently I have begun to feel the need to inform myself of some of the aspects of spiritual warfare. Yesterday as I was browsing the books at a local thrift store I came across this and figured I might as well purchase it, since it was only a quarter. As I began reading it I noticed many discrepancies. I found many places where she contradicts herself, sometimes within the same page. There are also several places where the Bible passages do not seem to agree with what she is saying. Some of the beliefs she puts forth also conflict with what I have always been taught, ideas that have solid Biblical backing. At one point I was given the impression that one must be sinless in order to be able to make any proper decision or standing. "But I tell you in truth, if you have sin in your life, if you do not have a personal relationship with the Lord, then you will not stand, and your decision, in the Valley of Decision, will be the wrong one." (page ten) She places two different ideas together here, it seems as an effort to mask what she is saying. I get the impression that she believes we can be sinless, an idea that would be unbiblical. While I believe Jesus redeemed us of our sins and has made us whole again I also believe we are not capable as humans to be completely free of sin. Even the greatest Biblical heroes were not, but were close to God and received many blessings. While the book did cause me to think about some issues of spiritual warfare, of which I know very little, the book overall did not answer questions that I had about it. I would recommend finding a different source for addressing such questions.

Summary: satan's scheme's exposed!!!
Review: I believe that if you are truly seeking the vital truths that God father of the Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh wants to reveal to you, you should get this book. However it is best obsorbed after reading Brown's first book, or part 1. "He came to set the captives free" I had overlooked these books in my search for revelation in regard to spiritual warfare. I was not impressed by the simple titles. Yet After God brought them back to my attention, I was I bought them and was greatly blessed.
She also gives professing catholics somethings to investigate.

Highly recommended reading.

Summary: Give me a break.....
Review: Yoga and other occult practices have been around LONGER than the xtian God.... it ticks me off that some (notice i said some) xtians still haven't learned the lesson of RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE. Like the old quote says,"It's your hell -- you burn in it."

Summary: A must read for every Christians seeking spiritual growth
Review: If Dr. Brown could rename this book, it would be called "Exposing the Enemy." She exposed the inside of the dark satanic movement, spirit world, the truth about Yoga and how the Surya Namaskar, also called the "Sun Salutation" (which are a series of positions used for warm up exercise which is actually positions of sun god worship!!!). She informed readers about how eastern religious and new age teachings are creeping up in our society. Many Christian are not aware of the spiritual damaging effects of the teachings and practices of eastern religions because of the lack of knowledge of the historical roots. I live in New Orleans, she could write a whole book on Mardi Gras! She discuses the history behind the rosary, something to many seeming very innocent and goes inside the Catholic Church was some eye opening accounts.

The book starts off talking about how her friend Elaine who was trapped in a deep satanic cult and later gave her life to Jesus. She uncovers the dark world of satanism that many people don't believe exist. Through this book I learned how many satanist have infiltrated parts of the governmental system, foster homes, molest, rape and murder innocent children as a part of their black services.

Dr. Brown exposed the enemy and opened my awareness a great deal. I had never hear of "astral projections" and didn't know that these things were mentioned in the Bible. If you haven't, then all the more reason to read the book. Let me not forget to mention that she gives a host of Biblical references. She doesn't try to be all things to all Christians. This is surely her ministry.

A word of caution. I don't believe this book is written for the babes in Christ or the unsaved. Before you read, make sure you are prayed up and ready for possible distractions by the enemy. If you are not open to dig deeper in the things of the Lord, this is not the book for you. If your marriage, children or you have been under attack and you just can't seem to put your fingers on it, this is your book. Not only is Dr. Brown exposing the enemy but she explains in detail how we can fight back and win.

Summary: Some books deserve a negative mark.
Review: I gave this a one because I lack the ability to give it a negative denouement. It is one of the most worthless pieces of drivel I have ever come across in my life. The worst part is to see people endoresing it. Please, ask other priests or whomever you follow in your respective religion before buying this twaddle. It will only give you an honest and forceful amount of misinformation that only rivals that used against the Jews in the Spanish Inquisition.

Summary: Gripping and intense! ! ! !
Review: I read this book the day after I read Donald Grayson's comment that "Able-bodied adults should, I hope, know that people who own or manage businesses will take the time to consider how they can redesign jobs in order to pay better wages to unskilled people, so that a living wage is available." Indeed, what is more uphold dignity, respect, and opportunity for each person!

That is what this book is *really* about. About respecting yourself. About respecting your friends. About respecting your family. About respecting respect itself. That is the only way to rid demons from your life, from your friend's lives, from your familie's lives, from everyone's life.

Anyway, I would recommend that everyone read this book. It should be required reading in high school and again in college. I have one small complaint - that the author portrays Christians in a less than favorable light. But, that is commonplace today. Christianity has morhped into some kind of snake-handling side-show attraction to either be viewed with awe or disgust, depending on the onlookers beliefs. The truth is, a simple faith in God has brought many working class Americans through the toughest of times with perseverance and grace. But, we're all just people trying to make it through.

Summary: Demonic Doorway to Destruction? Oh MY!!!
Review: Yoga and Meditation are endorsed in some churches...my PRIEST practiced Yoga, and both are healthy and life-affirming practices! As for role-playing? As long as you can distinguish fantasy from reality, what's the harm?

Rediculous. Ludicrous. Spiritual Warfare? HA! Grow up and get out of fantasy land.

Summary: Well, if it's war you're after.....
Review: .....then don't be at all surprised that when you invoke Jesus against a committed Satanist, he doesn't just fill you full of lead. Unlike vampires, Satanists tend to laugh at crucifixes.

This rather amusing tome is intended to convince the reader that Satan is all-around and trying to get you to stray from the good and righteous path of Christianity. He has several ways of doing this, assuming you have indulged in the various fashionable moral worries that Christians tend to fret over. Things such as yoga or role-playing games. These represent a "door" to Satan apparently, a means whereby he can wrest control of your psyche. This is a rather anaemic view of Satan compared to an author like Grant R Jeffrey who at least credits Satan with the ability and the ambition to attempt to forge a dictatorship here on earth. Rebecca Brown by contrast, takes the Hollywood view of Satan as a being with only the power, ambition and wherewithal to pester little girls. This gives the book an amusing overtone, assuming you can get over your amazement that (a) a grown-up can actually believe this and (b) that same grown-up is an MD.

As someone who has indulged in various of the said activities including having actually read the Satanic Bible then obviously come Judgement Day I'm really for the high jump. I would deny that I am actually possessed by Satan myself, but as the author states "of course, I would deny this". Therefore I am disallowed right of reply since I am non compus mentis.........
