Rating: Summary: All you will need Review: All you will need is in this book. I have followed the Green craft for awhile now and my BOS was not nearly as complete as this one. Thank you Aoumiel for all your books and this one has made the green craft complete for me. Even if your new to the craft this book will save you lots of time and give you great ideas and will allow you to see the great personal diversity there is in Green craft.
Rating: Summary: The Essential Ann Moura Review: Ann's Green Witchcraft series started me on the path to Wicca years ago. Being an environmentalist, her reverence for the Earth and for nature struck me on a very personal chord. I say this book is the "essential" Ann Moura, because it is such a useful reference book of everything she teaches in her series. It is indeed the "essence" of her craft. While this book is not enough by itself for the new practitioner, it is a useful guide I have already been using as frequently as a cook book! Coupled with the Green Witchcraft I, II, and III series, you have everything you need for this type of everyday-earthy practice.

Rating: Summary: A Personal Look at A Witches Grimoire Review: From the introduction of the book: "This is a facsimile, a duplication, of my own Book of Shadows and Grimoire - presented as I myself use it with a Book of Rituals and a Book of Spells. " For those who follow the Green Witch Path, they will find this book interesting, useful and curious as well. We are taken into Ann Moura's personal Book of Shadows and we learn what she uses in her everyday magical life. In the old traditions, the student of the path hand writes their own copy of the Book of Shadows as handed down by their teacher. Ann Moura, having her own large following, realizes this is an important part of learning and offers her own Book of Shadows printed for the use of her students. Ms. Moura has presented teaching material before in her own path of Green Witchcraft, and this book augments the learning. It includes her 'Creed of the Green Witch' and "The Sacred Tradition of Green Witchcraft" as well as the standard reference material focusing on God and Goddess, practices, "Rules of Conduct', Sabbats, proper techniques for performance of magic, tools, writings, rituals, spells and spell workings and all the essentials that comprise a standard Book of Shadows. As usual, the material is easy to follow, well written and is true to the Ann Moura style of teaching and writing. I have to say this is well thought out and laid out. It covers all the aspects of a true Grimoire and keeps in line of Ms. Moura's personal teachings. For the curios, this is a good example of what a Book of Shadow can look like when planned and worked with dedication. For the student of the Green WitchCraft path, this book is an essential addition to your Green library. boudica

Rating: Summary: Not worth your money or your soul ....... Review: Hello my friends ! That book is just not worth the money if your a Wiccan I would suggest the book "Wicca" by: William Schnoeblen from Chick Publications www.chick.com or you can find it on Amazon to ! thanks for your time :-) www.needGOD.com
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I bought this book as soon as it came out. Ann Moura has a way with words and has done very well with this book. I have found some things within it are not for the beginner but explains well what she is telling about. I have many, many books on the craft but in this book are some things that are not in the myriad of other books I have. A good read and a wonderful reference book to boot. I very much enjoyed reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I bought this book without reading any her of green witchcraft books and now I'm going to buy all of them! Wiccans be warned, she isn't Wiccan, but has an incredible source of knowledge usable by Wiccans or Witches. Everything from her personal affirmations to palmistry, tarot, sabbat activities, and a glossary of extensive terms. I don't have a favorite section but the meditations come close. I really can't put this book down. Everytime I need to clarify something, remember a term, cast runes, or just be inspired, this book is it. It has helped me to reclaim my faith and bring me closer to where I want to be spiritually. The reason I didn't give it five stars is only because some information can be confusing if you haven't read her previous books, but it still stands alone well. If you're not sure whether or not to get this book, stop questioning and get it, you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I had the great pleasure to meet Ann, she is a very wonderful Lady! I just love this book, the lay out, writing, everything! It's like Ann is there talking to you! A must for any Witch, new or old!
Rating: Summary: I get a good feeling from this book Review: I have read a few negative reviews on Amazon regarding this book, but I guess it all comes down to this: if you consider yourself an advanced witch or Wiccan, you may want to be less harsh in your judgment of this book, as the people reading it are those like myself, who have an avid interest in witchcraft/the occult, but don't have the twenty years of training in such subjects. So, in that case, I've made my point clear.
I am not saying that this book is poorly written or contrived, on that contrary, it's a very rich book, and I think it is chock-full of important information. I would highly recommend this book, of course, to those who need a "teacher," and Ann Moura is just this person. Her book is quite replete, as I mentioned, and I get a "good feeling" from it for some reason.
(I also wanted to note that I especially loved that Ann included sections on magical teas and other aspects of the occult like the symbols of planetary spirits and so forth. This book has it all.)
