Review: If you've ever had even the slightest interest in this subject, if you've ever had the slightest doubts about your own heritage...this is the book to read. It won't give you all the answers, but it helps you realize your own. This book is small, simple, and not detailed at all. And because of that, it's everything you need when you don't want to plough through a hundred textbooks looking for answers.

Summary: Divine Sparks to Kindle a Spiritual Beacon
Review: Most individuals are born into earthly existence to struggle and grow through lives of primarily earthly focus. However, there is a sizable minority of souls whose focus, and origin, is not of this earth. These are the Earth Angels as Dr. Virtue terms them. They are not here primarily for material and mundane concerns. Rather, they are the light workers put here for higher reasons- to teach, to protect, to heal. This well produced little pocket guide is a well organized introduction to all categories of "Earth Angel":
1) The actual incarnated angels who come from the ranks of the beings historically termed angels (to heal and serve), 2) the incarnated elementals who originate in the realm of nature spirits (to protect the natural realm- and enjoy themselves while doing so), 3) the star people from extraterrestrial, if not extra-dimensional, origins (to heal, help, and keep our civilization from committing species-wide suicide), 4) the walk-ins from many realms (those who take the opportunity to make use of a life and body that would have otherwise been wasted) and 5) the wise ones with old souls and many previous incarnations as sorceresses, priestesses, wizards, or shamans (to teach and practice the mystic and magical.) You know deep down whether your primary focus, your center, lies in this world or the next. Yet, both the test in this book, as well as the nicely done descriptions of each of the specific categories serve as reassuring validation. And there is a reason that so many of us are here at this time. As the author points out, the old systems such as governments, corporations and churches are beginning to fall. Teachers, guides, councilors are needed to light the path towards a better way.

Summary: And the doors of perception continue to swing open
Review: Never one to embrace the concept(s) of reincarnation (don't we have enough to deal with in this lifetime?:), along with the idea of being just another sheep, grazing with a "different" herd, made me want to run and play the nearest copy of "I Gotta Be Me"! So, I set aside my analyical mind, "asked" for some quiet, open space and found... an EXTREMELY enjoyable and entertaining book! Then came the deeper appreciations: the "short, sweet, and to the point" nature of the book. able to read in 1-2 sittings, and, yes, the moments of "That's me, too!" Funny how getting answers to the littlest things, actually gave me peace, like why I hear those li'l high-pitched tones in my right ear, and why I absolutely HAVE to live near the ocean.Well done, Doreen Virtue! You have a new fan! (And have given this "lone sheep" some fresh, new light to nibble on!)

90% of people would fit one or more of those - I shudder to even give them this much credit - "critera!" And ones drawn to a book which says, "why, you have problems in your life because you're special!" are going to utterly fall for it, hook, line and sinker.

Once again, enforcing the need to be special and important. Not everyone can be as important as you, and your importance means that despite being a drunk, fat and spouce-less, you too are going to play a role in shaping the entire world!

So, not only are you going to change the world in your oh-so-special way, but you've ALWAYS been special and will be for all time.
It just gets worse from there, going on to discuss that clearly, your fashion sense and the way you style your hair must be an indication of your special, divine, heavenly and oh yes, "important" self.

Avoid. This is really, really sad. And a disgrace to those who take seriously the concepts of reincarnation, spirituality and the Divine.

Summary: twinkie and shallow
Review: This book has some interesting notions but it is very much in the fuzzy pink unicorn class of 'new age' books. For example her concept of 'fairies' seems to come from Disney cartoons rather than the awesome and formidable Sidhe of folklore and Craft teaching and experience. There is no depth here, no grit in any of the sections. All just too aerie la-la for me, but it does raise some interesting issues and is not expensive so what the hey. Enjoy it for what it is without expecting it to be more.

Review: This book really helped me to understand a lot about myself. Alot of things in my life started to make sense finally. Every Light Worker out there should have this book...First, you'll learn you're not alone...second, but most important, you'll learn you are not crazy!! It also helps you to understand others.It might be a small book but jammed pack full of information!
