Summary: Get the best advice on dating, marriage and relationships
Review: This book helps you really look at yourself, learn to know yourself, then you determine what traits are really important in a mate. What bugs you, what can you live with, what things can you just not stand in a mate?

This book helps you look at common wish lists for a mate and find out what matters most to YOU. Then you learn to determine if someone has these traits, so you don't waste your time on dating someone you could never be happy with.

This book makes sense, and helps people pin down what really matters to THEM. I'd recommend it highly to anyone looking for a relationship.

If you are in a relationship and its not working out, this book could also help you figure out what's wrong. This one should be on everyone's book shelves, its a great book to loan to friends and family if you don't need it yourself.

This book uses sound principals of true personality compatability.

Summary: God's "A" List
Review: This book is on God's "A" list because it helps singles make wise choices. So many people would be better off if they read this before getting involved with the wrong person.

Summary: changed my view of dating forever
Review: This is a wonderful book. I read it in one afternoon and it totally changed my ideas of how a relationship should form. Dr. Warren clearly understands what the real "rules" of dating should be, and how it might actually be possible to "win." I recommend this book highly.

Summary: Required reading for singles
Review: This is absolutely the best, most practical book I've read for singles who are looking for a long-term relationship or marriage partner. It could be subtitled "How to Avoid a Divorce"! The advice is very concrete and requires you to look honestly at yourself before looking for a spouse. Dr.Warren's counseling experience with couples whose relationships are failing give him a unique perspective on the kinds of things that make relationships work. As a 40-something divorced woman I found this book very valuable. I also gave it to my college son and told him to read it or else!

Summary: A Gotta Read if Serious About Finding the Right Mate
Review: Wow! This is a great book. I just read this book after breaking up with a lady I had dated for a year and a half. The dating process took us through several ups and downs and ended six weeks before we were to have been married. This book would have brought clarity to our relationship early on and probably would have saved much heartache. Interestingly, the book would have helped me truly know what a wonderful lady I was engaged to and made me appreciate her more -- possibly saving the relationship. I especially liked the thoughtful method Warren used to "force" the reader to really get to know him/herself and to identify the characteristics desired and not desired in a potential mate.
