Summary: Same old, same old..
Review: ...after reading some of the reviews I was gagging to get my hands on Lysa Mateu's book. I have to say that I was left a little disappointed. Although the authors style is punchy and modern, with a refreshing no-frills approach - I found it just an upbeat version of the books that I grew out of some time ago. Those books just seem to spend their time proving that the writer really is able to speak to the spirits. Offering story upon story of facts from spirits that they were later able to prove. Add to this the fact that the authors partner is a life coach, so there's loads of great mantras for how to better your life (from Lysa and Satori's experiences) - leaving me feeling a little cheated. I have no doubt that there are very gifted people who are able to converse with the other side, however, 'connecting with who you are, why you're here and what lies beyond' promises a lot more than just proof that Lysa is a great psychic (which I never doubted). In this book Sylvia Browne is pooh-pooh'd a little, I have read several of her books and found that, for all their sensationalism, I really was left with a better idea of 'why I'm here and what lies beyond'... read this book if you're still not convinced that the spirit world exists, but not if you're looking for reasons why we're here.

Summary: Compelling, Inspiring Book
Review: I am in the middle of reading Psychic Diaries and I couldn't wait until the end to write this review. I have read many many books on psychic abilities, and I think Lysa is the person I have been searching for to answer my questions. Psychic Diaries has made me feel so many emotions! You are truly amazing, Lysa! Psychic Diaries is the best, most inspirational and compelling book I've ever read!

Summary: Fan in Singapore
Review: I am writing all the way from Singapore. I loved "Psychic Diaries".
I've read and re-read it a couple of times, and everytime I do, it keeps my spirits up!
I enjoyed reading about how Lysa went gone through so many phases in her life to find her life purpose.
There was this part in the book where she said that "the Universe gave her the boot". She wrote about how she did her first channeling sessions, and how she felt everything was too easy, so she had to find a job at Paramount, but she lost it shortly afterwards when she told Nancy, the regular assistant, that she was channeling the vice-president's deceased father.
That got me thinking for a while about leaving my current job! And I finally did! And I'm happy now!
I look forward to getting a copy of "Conversations with the Spirit World", which is rather hard to find in Singapore.

Summary: Opened my eyes to another world and way of life
Review: I began to read PSYCHIC DIARIES and could not put it down. WOW . . .
Lysa, it was as if you had written the book for me to explain "how and where" to beging a self-journery to learn about psychic phenomenon.
Your life experiences further piqued my interest in this field.
Your conversational style of writing and your great sense of humor had me totally absorbed for hours. While reading in awe about experiences you encountered, I often found myself laughing out loud. You are such a down-to-earth person who tells it like it is!
Thanks for enlightening me through PSYCHIC DIARIES and I look forward to reading some of your other works.

Summary: It fell into my lap
Review: I bought Lysa's latest book, Psychic Diaries on the 27th and finished it on the 28th! It's funny, I was reaching for another book and hers literally fell down in front of me ( a sign? I think so!), so I picked it up, read the flaps and was instantly enamored with it! I just want to thank Lysa so much for being such a great writer and on my favorite subject. I love her book, it really resonates with me on so many levels, it is truly a gift for those of us searching for our place here. I feel as though I've uncovered a treasure map and now it's time to start digging! I am going to sign up for a phone reading shortly, which, needless to say, I am so thrilled about.Thank you Lysa for sharing your gifts with us; your superb writing skills and of course, your gift of of 'gab' with those on the other side. Summary: woke me out of my stupor
Review: I just finished reading Psychic Diaries. The things Lysa writes about love and living were among the most inspirational I've ever read. Her words rang so true to me.
Sometimes these things you already know unconsciously, but you need them put into language so you can recognize and act on them. So I'm writing to say thank you so much, Lysa, for waking me up from my daily stupor and giving me the nudge I needed to pursue how I want to live.

Summary: saved my life - thank you
Review: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Lysa, for saving my life. I have had a rough year to say the least and the past month has been the absolute worst and I was afraid for my life...that I would take my own life.
That is until I happened upon your new book "Psychic Diaries" at my local library. It is one of the most amazing books I have ever read! You have taught me so much about life...MY life...in this one book then I have learned in 37 yrs of living it! You are an amazing, funny, beautiful person< inside & out >

Summary: After a friend's suicide...
Review: I picked up this book last month after a friends suicide...after feeling the effets of his suicide. Blew me away, literally. so I walked the 'woo woo' isle of B&N looking for confirmation of my insanity.....or not. Only one copy of Psychic Diaries. Pleased to say, when I finally decided to sit down and read this book, convinced of my insanity, I was pleasantly suprised. Just her experiences, without a myraid of 'must do's' in order to experience for myself, be myself....be ok with myself. Oddly enough, I thank Lysa for the best 'Self Help' book I've ever read. Yeah, her book solidified what I already knew, but that I still questioned as possible insanity. But most of all I realized my life is real.....and it's good to be me, that I am a better person, or a different person then I ever let on to myself and or others. Yada, yada, yada.
I am in the Wednesday of my life, confused and scared with some wisdom......... on the brink of a cliff not sure of my vehicle?
Perhaps some day soon my thoughts won't be so disjointed and I will be able to better speak with conviction of my identity and purpose.
