Review: Just finished reading Lysa's first book, Conversations with the Spirit World," and loved it, so I bought her new book, Psychic Diaries, and I can't even begin to express how much I enjoyed it. She has really outdone herself this time. It was GREAT! I cried through the entire part where she lets the people she's done readings with, tell their personal story. When I saw the photos in the book of their loved ones who died, I cried, and then felt uplifted by what they got out of their reading with Lysa. The actual transcripts were amazing. This is the first book I've read in this genre where full names of people she's done reading with, are used. This is not only a peek inside the mind of an extraordinary psychic medium, it's a peek inside the mind of the people she's done readings for because they tell their stories, as do the people who have died. I feel better for having read these two books.

You have made such a temendous impact on my life through your book,"Psychic Diaries." My outlook on my life is now seen through much different eyes. The challenges I have faced in my life now make so much more sense. I have experienced being intuitive my whole life yet did not always understand it as the gift it is. I have always counseled, encouraged others and healed others. I became a teacher. I am now opening up my abilities even more after being redirected to my path. I was divinely guided to your book and understand why.....I believe my life work is to include mediumship.

You have made such an impact on the lives of others and this is truly what healing the world is about. Summary: THIS BOOK HAS GIVEN ME PEACE
Review: Lysa, I just wanted to write you and tell you what a difference your book has made in my life. I am the single parent of a child, age 6, who I know has insight well beyond her years. She is able to tell you things about pictures, relatives that have passed that I have had to ask my mother about...only for her to confirm that the information is correct, and she has a sense of people that I NEVER question.

I picked up your book after having it for 2 months and read almost all of it in 3 days. I am a counselor at a community mental health center, I love my work and often struggle with taking on other's emotional pain. The other day, I found myself in the park..on a swing..reading your book! I don't think I've taken a lunch for myself in 4 years!

I returned to work that day ready to take on anything my therapy group had to throw at me! Thank you so much! I look forward to your next book...it will be the second book I will read in 6 years. Thank you again...I cannot describe the inner peace that I gained from this experience. -Amy

Summary: Turn off the phone, curl up on the couch, and read this book
Review: Yesterday I read Psychic Diaries -- all of it. I cried most of the way through and for a long time afterwards. My mother died in January, 2001, and for some reason I can't get over it. Just writing this, here I am crying again!

I just about rolled on the floor laughing at Lysa's answer to her brother's question, "Is Grandma watching me when I'm having sex?" but it's something I've wondered about, too! Her answer was priceless -- and comforting.

I also really enjoy her informal style. Her use of slang and catchy phrases makes the text live, as though she is right there talking to the reader. And I appreciated the quotations that illustrate things she's read; a number of pages in my copy have the corners turned down for quick reference.

I'm a psychologist by training, and I found her comments and advice very sound.

Reading the book has given me comfort and insight into my relationship with my mom.
