Summary: The Greatest Book a Coven can Have!
Review: This book is the best thing I have ever bought! I've had this book for years, and never realized the true value of it until recently. I started reading it on an offchance it might help me through a few of the problems my coven and I are facing. BOY HOWDY! All of our issues combined and more are talked about, and solutions are presented in a positive and empowering fashion. What a FIND! This book teaches teachers how to teach more effectively, and witches in covens how to be better coveners. All without any pushiness, and completely realistic and clear. No vague or amorphous information. Any coven out there has GOT to have this book! It's totally DYNAMITE!

Summary: Amber K has done it again!
Review: This Priestess and author has outdone herself....AGAIN! Covencraft is an invaluable tool for anyone interested in starting a coven (or worship space). Full of complete and comprehensive instruction (with examples) to getting your 501(c)3 status. This book is a staple in any Pagan's library. Highly recommended without reservation!

Summary: Good for starting covens, but heavy on feminism
Review: When I first read this book, I was very excited. Other than one other book I had seen, Covencraft was the only one that focused on how to create a coven. It holds many details on construction and management of a coven and even has some information for joining one. However, I found the feminism in the book more than a little intimidating. The one thing that caught my attention was the fact that the High Priestess in the coven is the highest authority and that the High Priest is her subordinate rather than her equal. Also, there were some of the rituals that focused greatly on females instead of just males and a great deal of attention was put on just goddesses. Although the information is good and can be adapted in any way you'd like, the context was just a little too much for my liking. Other than this, the book is quite excellent.

Summary: Outstanding for HP/S, Grove leaders, etc.
Review: Written specifically for starting witchcraft covens, it's insight can also apply to starting just about any organized group of folks sharing a spiritual path. It takes you through just about everything the leader of these groups would need to think about before, during and after forming up. It spends a good deal of time on how to identify the right people for your group, how to deal with mundane issues like using someone's home as a temple or how to get a separate temple area and ideas for dealing with the inevitable financial issues associated with any group. It even gets into fun activities that the group could get together and participate in. It's a must-read for anyone planning on starting his or her own church / coven / grove.
