Summary: The Master did it again
Review: Jude F. Murray decides she needs a break. She quites her job and flies to Ireland to stay at her grandmother's cousin cottage for 6 months. Being a sensible and analytical woman, Jude doesn't expect to find herself living in a haunted house or believing in myth stories behind it. But Jude finally steps over the line of Aidan Gallagher, the oldest of the Gallaghers who own a bar near the cottage, who seems able to move her heart in a strange kind a way. Now, surrounded by the beautiful scene of Ireland, Jude and Aidan are ready to make their own love story.I always love Nora Roberts and her Ireland story. Not to mention I always love Ireland too since to me that country is magic. This romance gives you the best spirit of Ireland. The myths, the scenery, the hospitality, the tradition and of course the love. I couldn't wait to read the next sequel: Tears of the Moon, and finds out what happen to Shawn Gallagher.

Summary: I can't WAIT to go to Ireland ...
Review: I swear Nora Roberts must get kickbacks from the Irish Tourism board. Who WOULDN'T want to go try and find a village like Ardmore, and the wonderful people in it? Some readers have complained of Jude's "weak" character, and if I had tossed the book away halfway through I might have agreed. But the point is that people do develop and grow, and we got to see Jude get over her insecurities. People who don't think she's a realistic character have clearly never been on the insecure side. And Aidan -- well, who wouldn't want to spend hours in his company? Charming, a captivating storyteller, a romantic, a man who knows himself and his home. I am so looking forward to reading about Shawn and Brenna, and then of course Darcy and ... whomever. I'm not normally into books where ghosts and faeries are spoken of matter-of-factly, but even that aspect of the story was enchanting. I read the book to my husband in 2 days of driving on the way back from vacation, and even he (a Stephen King fan) enjoyed it!

Review: Oh,my,gosh,I love this book!After I read it I could only keep
repeating how I would die to go to Ireland.Aidans a doll,Jude is
beyond lovable,and Mr.Riley gets full marks!I'm in the middle of
Heart of the Sea and I must say both it and Tears of the Moon,
while charming books,aren't quite as original as the first.
But the whole trilogy makes a smashing good read,and Gallaghers
pub was simply inspired!

Summary: Great beginning to a great trilogy
Review: "Jewels of the Sun" is an enchanting and well-written book. It is the first in Nora Robert's series about the Gallaghers of Ardmore. This first installment introduces the reader to the oldest brother, Aidan, who has taken over the family pub. Aidan is a great, well-developed hero. Jude Murray arrives in Ireland feeling lost and alone. She soon finds that her pretty little cottage and the village of Ardmore are fast becoming home to her. The story Nora weaves is completely enthralling. I could not put this book down. I loved watching Jude and Aidan come together, and it was also great seeing Jude grow as a person and gain confidence in herself. The fantasy elements of the book are just fabulous. The story of Carrick, prince of the faeries, and Gwen, the lovely ghost who haunts Jude's cottage is touching and compelling. This book is great all-around, and I highly recommend reading it, as well as the two that follow.

Review: No surprises here, folks. Nora has hit the literary nail squarely on the head once again with the first installment of a new trilogy. Anyone who has read Nora's "Born in..." or "Dream" trilogies can appreciate the fact that these books are SO worth waiting for. Romance, laughter, witt and humor mix together seamlessly in "Jewels of the Sun". Set against the simple rustic beauty of Ireland, Nora begins spinning her newest web with the Gallagher family. Aidan, owner of the local pub, falls hard and fast for 'Yank' want-to-be writer Jude Murray, whose come to Ireland to trace her roots, escape the husband who discarded her, and find her place in the world. The secondary characters we know we'll get to catch up with in the coming two novels will make you howl with laughter and the legends of the ghosts that inhabit Ireland's "Fairie Hill" searching endlessly for lost love will touch your heart. Nora Roberts is the best. This book is proof positive.

Review: Nora Roberts is simply the best. This was a lovely and memorable story and the characters were fantastic. This author writes SO many wonderful books, it's amazing how she keeps things fresh and original. No one does it better.

Review: What can I possibly say about this book that will make you want to go out and buy it yourself? It's got romance, enchantement, broken hearts,and a beautiful Irish setting. This book is part of a trilogy by Nora Roberts, focusing on the Gallagher siblings: Aidan, Shawn, and Darcy. There's also an underlying storyline about a ghost that haunts the home of Jude. The ghost, Lady Gwen, is bound to walk the Irish shore and the home until 3 loves bloom. Only then will she be able to be reunited with her true love, Carrick, the fairy king. Now, on to the review.... Jude Murray, feeling more and more out of control of her life after her divorce, quits her prestigious psychology job in Chicago. Feeling the need to escape and discover her roots, she travels to Ardmore, Ireland. There she meets cousins, a few spirits and a man, Aidan, who can't seem to keep his hands off of her. Never in her life has she felt for a man the way she does Aidan. Aidan owns the locan pub in town. He's done his share of adventuring in his life and decides to that it's time to come home to Ireland and manage the family business. When he meets the beautiful "Yank" Jude, he's bound and determined to win her love. I began reading this book and 4 hours later I put it down, teary-eyed and bound and determined to write a review. Never in my life have I wanted to trade places with someone as much as I did Jude. You can actually feel yourself falling in love with Aidan as the story develops. Here is a man, a good man who wants so desperately to love this woman. And here is a woman, who is successful, witty, and loving who just can't see past the pain of her divorce to allow herself to be loved completely by him. In short, I suggest that any serious romance reader buy this book. Nora Roberts has outdone herself! She has such a talent for capturing Ireland and the people who live there. She also has a nack for capturing raw human emotions. I'm working on book two of the series, "Tears of the Moon",which involves the younger Gallagher brother, Shawn. Enjoy "Jewels of the Sun", I did!

Summary: The best ROMANCE novel i ever read!
Review: My favorite book will always be Jewels of the sun, it was an exciting book that made you never want to put it down. Every page made you wanting to know more, left you hoping the ending was happy. Adian, Shawn, Jude, Dracy, and etc made you laugh, cry, and yell on the inside and i have to say sometimes i did laugh out loud. they were awsome characters that made you see it all as you read. Nora Roberts is the best writer of her time because only the best can make me mentaly piant a picture in my head of what i read so since Nora Roberts can do that she is the best author. i recammend this book to all who love an exciting Romance Novel. i have the book 18 times and everytime it just gets better and better and so i am a huge fan of Nora Roberts.

Summary: Great trilogy
Review: I am reading the trilogy for the second time. I wish that I knew more about faeries and Irish folklore, as it seems so captivating. I feel as though I have been to Ireland, with the way that Nora Roberts writes. As with pretty much all romance novels, one of the characters fights the relationship. Usually the leading lady is cast as either the Stubborn Feisty Independent type, or the Helpless and Needy type. This book goes with the former. I roll my eyes at some of the love scenes... but isn't that why we read these anyway!? :) By the way, the second and third in the trilogy are just as good!

The characters feel so real that you expect them to walk out of the pages and start breathing. A very fun and satisfying romance.
