Summary: A nip of disappointment in a great story
Review: These books were recommended to me by a writing tutor and they are an excellent example of futuristic crime and romance. So far, I have enjoyed every one of them. I did feel, however, that Loyalty wasn't as good as the others. Roarke, for once, annoyed me with his constant interference in the investigation and Eve gave in to his arrogance time and time again. He should have respected her wishes in some aspects. As usual, the perpertrator was well-hidden and the addition of a wild and loose Peabody was great! 'bout time, too! I enjoyed the humour in it too, but I was less than satisfied with the sudden ending. I would have like to have seen the tension build with a bit about the other sites being checked rather than the sudden rush to the actual place of confrontation. I can't see how J.D. Robb can stop writing after the little tid-bit about Eve's parents - that this is the last book would be cruel and unusual punishment! So, I look forward to more, but like everybody else, I have to wait patiently, *sigh*.

Review: I can't wait for the next book! I was concerned that there was no introduction for the next book! Does this mean we won't be able to see how Peabody and MCNabb ends up, or for that matter Zeke and Trina etc.

Summary: Keep them Coming
Review: I enjoyed this book as much as the last. And for a fellow reviewer, no this is not that last. Witness in Death will be out March of 2000 and Judgment in Death in October 2000. Ms. Roberts says there are a lot more Eve and Rourke stories to come. Thank goodness - I am totally hooked.

Summary: When's the next one . . . . ? ? ? ?
Review: I almost went into mourning when I read the customer review that stated that this might be the last visit with Eve and Roarke. SAY IT AIN'T SO, NORA!! I recovered enough to take fingers to keyboard when I read further down that there will be at least two more. I can say nothing that illustrates my appreciation of this series than to say that every new one begins a round of re-reading all the old ones. Keep them coming.

Summary: Who's bombing New York??
Review: Eve Dallas is confronted by a group who seems bound and determined to destroy the city. Her job in Loyalty in Death? To find Cassandra and to put an end to the bombings. After nine books and one novella, I found that Eve and Roarke's story has slowed slightly, and I might have been disappointed if LID hadn't presented such a great sub-story for Peabody. Her brother's visit gives us an opportunity to know more about Eve's aide, and watching Peabody's romantic interest develop was wonderful, even though it was expected. Nine books is a long time to sustain a group of core characters and keep them interesting, and yet, that's just what JD Robb (Nora Roberts) has managed to do. I find myself anxious to see what new character growth each book will present.

Review: I just loved this book. I finished it in two days. I just love what she did with Peobody and McNab. She took Eve and Roarke to a new level. These two keep getting better with each book. Kept me guessing until the end. I can't wait until the next one comes out. They should make these books into movies.

Review: I love this book. J.D. Robb books just keep getting better and better. I never wanted to put this one down and sure didn't want it to end. Loved the story line very exciting. I can't wait for the next one.

Summary: Loyalty in Death Delivers!!!
Review: How does J.D. Robb do it? With the very first in this series down to the latest installment of Loyalty in Death, Nora Roberts (aka J.D. Robb) has not let her fans down. This series just gets better and better! Sometimes I feel like a voyeur getting this glimpse into Eve's life, both professionally and personally, but it's because the author is such a talent and truly knows how to combine romance, suspense and conflict.

Review: J.D.Robb has done it again. I was worried over a couple of the earlier books in the series. She seemed to be off her stride a bit, but in Loyalty in Death, she's back and better than ever. Really well done. One worry. With no preview of coming attractions at the end, does this mean this is the last one? I hope not. Does anybody know how we can find out for sure. I'd rather know now than be haunting my book stores and libraries for months/years looking for a book that's never going to appear. Would the publisher tell us if they knew?

Review: I think this book was the best in the In Death series. I loved the ending, and Peabody's brother Zeke is such a great character. I love reading Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb books because she makes you see what the character is seeing. It was really vivid in this book and it was amazing. I can't wait until the next In Death book.
