Summary: Love that humor, only Susan can write.
Review: I can't get enough of her books. In one part I laugh histarically, then I'm balling my eyes out and asking someone to pass the tissues. At times I just want to hug Bobby Tom for being so compassionate to Gracie, then I want to slug him for being a S.O.A.B. to her. On the other hand Gracie sometimes diserved it. Oh well. If you haven't read this book, you have to, you won't be dissapointed.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I would give it more than 5 stars!
Review: I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters so much that I wish it were a television series so I could follow the rest of their adventures! I wanted to read it again right away!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: HER BEST !!!!!!! so far......
Review: If you never read any of this writer's books or just read a few, then you MUST MUST go for THIS ONE. I'm one of her very royal readers. Besides reading all her books, I also can't help evaluating and rating each books. From the early "Fancy Pants" to the latest "Lady Be Good", I still keep my opinion that this one is the BEST. Gracie is the most simple yet most assuring and lovely lady among all created female characters. Bobby Tom is the most handsome, most tomboy yet most romantic male character. Actually, before writing this review, I have gone through all other reviews and found out that all the reviews give this book 5 STARS (This means most of the readers agree with me that this is really a GREAT book and deserved more than 5 stars. The story is well-versed and all the characters in the book are very real. It is a funny story and Susan Elizabeth Phillips has successfully created the constraint among the man and lady. I like the part that Gracie knows very well she has fallen in love in Bobby. Bobby Tom knows he himself has also fallen in love with her but he just does not want to admit it and refuses to believe such a gorgeous man he is, can fall in love with a simple lady like Gracie. The peak of the story comes at the end when Gracie feels so disappointed in Bobby that she decides to go back to her hometown to lead a simple life. Bobby Tom at this time, knowing he is going to lose her, has suddenly come to the realization how much he loves her. The ending of the story is EXTREMELY GOOD ! (Want to know how this marvellous story ends? Go to read it! and you'll know for yourself and wishing you are Gracie)

Summary: ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL
Review: I have read almost all of Susan Elizabeth Phillip's work, and this has to be the best! Every woman, at one time or another, dreams of a man like Bobby Tom Denton, and Ms. Phillips brings our dream man to life! A definate keeper!

Summary: Excellent! It was one of the best romances ever.
Review: I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips and this was undoubtedly one of her best efforts. I have been looking for more romance authors since I 've read all of Judith McNaught, Sandra Brown, and most of Nora Roberts. She is funny, and the heroes and heroines are believeable. It was great!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best of all possible romances...
Review: I love everything Susan Elizabeth Phillips writes, but this is my all time favorite. SUCH a good read, SUCH good writing, buy it right now!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Phillips' texan romance is truly heaven sent
Review: When I first picked up this book, I thought, uh-uh. No way can I get into a book where the hero's name is Bobby Tom. He sounded too much like some red-neck cowboy and not at all like the darkly handsome heroes of other romances. However, it took me about 2 whole seconds to fall head over heels in love with both Bobby Tom and this book. Phillips perfectly masters the romance genre combining great characterization with an interesting plot and lots of sweet humour. Yet at the same time she spices up her story with steamy sex scenes and gut-wrenchingly emotional confrontations between her 2 lovers. The romance between former NFL quarterback and Miss Gracie Snow is a roller coaster ride of thrills and smiles from start to finish. In short, its absolutely wonderful and I highly reccommend it.

Summary: I could not put this book down!!!!
Review: So far I have read this book five times -- an average of once a month. The characters are so funny, I swear my neighbors hear me howling with laughter at the wee hours of the morning. My favorite part is when Gracie takes the football quiz. ***sigh*** GREAT ENDING.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: DEFINITELY A 'KEEPER'!!
Review: I just 'discovered' Ms. Phillips books about 8 months ago...and I devour every one I purchase!! Started reading Heaven, TExas in early evening and could not go to bed until finishing!! (5am comes very early)!! Absolutely loved the characters and the storyline...laughed and cried all thru the book. As I am in the 'mature' category, thoroughly enjoyed the storyline between Suzy and Way. WOW!! The ending was great...I was waiting all thru the book for Bobby Tom to give Gracie the 'football' quiz...true love at its' best!!!!!! Ms. Phillips...please keep writing these loving, funning, sexy, wonderful stories.

Summary: I loved it!
Review: I found her book refreshing and funny at times. It's nice to know that you don't have to look like a model in order to be worthy of a handsome man's love. This book truly shows that it's whats inside that counts.
